Services
West Valley Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service, AAHA accredited small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local referral practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Dr. Sam received his Bachelors in Animal Science as well as one in Zoology from Rutger's University. He then attended the University of Prince Edward Island where he achieved his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Sam has owned the West Valley Veterinary Clinic since January of 2005. In addition to all of his duties and responsibilities here at the clinic, he is also a Captain in the Army Reserves.
Firstly, our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel off colour or unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine them every 6 months as well as run some routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent.
