Wilson enjoys the beautiful view of the Santa Maria Valley. Take a hike on the Orcutt Hill trail with your dog up to the Animal Clinic of Santa Maria's bench. The Animal Clinic of Santa Maria has been providing the community with compassionate veterinary care since 1991. Our goal is to make sure we provide you and your pet with the best possible experience every time you see us.
We appreciate all the wonderful support we have received over the years. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic center includes Digital Radiography and an In-house laboratory. We also collaborate with a board-certified veterinary radiologist for on-site ultrasounds and consult with nationally-recognized reference laboratories.

Services
Our imaging suite includes a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine and a digital x-ray system. Our staff can perform diagnostic x-rays for evaluation of injuries and illness, chest x-rays for cancer screening, hip, and elbow dysplasia, and contrast studies. We regularly collaborate with a board-certified veterinary radiologist for consultations.
Our grooming suite is equipped with a large walk up tub and drying cages to accommodate all sizes of pets from cats to large dogs. We cater to pets with special grooming needs such as those with severely matted coats or needing medicated shampoos for skin conditions. A nail trim is included with each bath.
An astounding 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age 3. Periodontal disease is a common problem in dogs, particularly in smaller breeds. About 28% of cats will develop painful resorptive lesions during their lifetime. The first step in preventing oral disease is a dental examination.
Just like the medical problems that people encounter, our pets also may suffer from conditions that affect any part of the body. Sometimes a pet owner may not even be sure that there is something wrong since your pet can't tell you. Our professionals have the experience and training to see the subtle changes in the way your pet acts or appears.
Did you know that you should not expose your puppy or kitten to public spaces until after it has received its complete series of vaccinations? At the Animal Clinic of Santa Maria, we feel that the best assurance for your pet's health is through education and prevention. We get you started on the right foot with puppy and kitten health programs.

It seems everytime I have used these people THEY JUST WANT MORE MONEY. CALLED for grooming!!! They want a full exam of my dog. AND now require a two set shot for DOG INFLUENZA??? This series is expensive. My Dog is current on all shots. My Vet gave him a full yearly exam in SEPTEMBER 6TH. That's why I quit using them years ago. Money, money, money.
