Whitaker Engineering Corporation was formed by Cecil L. Whitaker, PE, DEE, President and Owner. Mr. Whitaker has over 40 years in the industry as an owner or principal in engineering firms. He is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and holds specialty certifications with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
Wastewater collection and treatment continues to experience the challenges of old infrastructure, ever-expanding regulatory requirements, and economic pressures. Implementation of long-term control plans and development pressures create additional demands upon utilities and rate payers.

When faced with any or all of these factors, Whitaker Engineering uses planning, technology, and client participation to map out strategies for changing the challenges into opportunities.Whitaker Engineering's excellent track record for developing a master plan for wastewater facilities or designing cost-effective solutions that minimize capital and operational costs has been established with its clients for several years.
Concepts and ideas are the motivators for creating a new future, a better environment, and a different experience. Communities and clients are faced challenges of increased expenses and demands for service. Every dollar is precious, so conceptual plans for a better future and master plans for turning concepts into reality are extremely critical.
Wastewater collection and treatment is most complex and expensive of the water-related utilities. The treatment facilities use tremendous amounts of energy, require daily monitoring of the treatment biological processes, generate large quantities of sludge requiring disposal, and sometimes creates toxic and corrosive environments.
First, the team will work with stakeholders to develop a dynamic aquatic facility. In the past, communities have constructed "stark" public facilities, resulting in limited use by residents. Our approach with our clients is to create customers and not assume customers exist. Water features including slides and hoops can add interest.
