When it opened in 1900, Tobler's Flowers was known as "Bunker Hill Greenhouses, " a fitting place for a florist to grow from. The flowers were delivered around Kansas City via horse and cart by Jacob and Etta Tobler themselves. The Toblers would keep the business in the family for 95 years, passing the reigns down from generation to generation.

Been using Toblers for years now. Always perfect arrangements that last a long time. Great customer service and really helped out with last minute panic situations. I started an account and they send me reminders of important dates that I choose. Now they never sneak up on me. Also I get a couple random notifications of awesome deals for end of season or excess flowers. $60-$70 dollar arrangements for $20-$30! Delivery included.

Such a beautiful arrangement of flowers delivered to my mom! She was so happy to receive them after a long stay in rehabilitation. And the special price with no delivery charge was greatly! I will continue to look for that “Today Only” email. However, I have used Toblers several times and have had great service and beautiful arrangements!

The arrangement was very disappointing. I advised my friend to use Tobler's rather than call an 1 800 florist because the flowers I have received from Tobler's have always been very nice. The purple hydrangeas were all wilty, and the little green "Knobby" flowers were predominant. The three pink roses were nice, but all in all it was not up to Kansas City's #1 florist. It was meant as a "Get Well" surprise, but it certainly did not cheer me up!

My boyfriend surprised me with a Toblers delivery for my birthday! The flowers are gorgeous and the chocolates a nice touch. I can’t remember the last time I had such a fragrant bouquet. This one is just packed with lilies! It’s changing as all of the lilies open up! He said he chose this because he was looking for something “bright & cheery.” Mission accomplished! 💛❤️💝

I don’t know what happened unless they saw my previous review(above) but the very next day my sister text me and said they sent her a new bouquet and it was beautiful..just like the picture above on left! I was so impressed! I highly recommend this florist after this happened especially when I didn’t call to complain they took it upon themselves to correct! Bravo Toblers Flowers!!!

My birthday was last Friday on 5/7 and my boyfriend got me roses from Brian and on the 4th day all the roses were dead. My boyfriend called and spoke to a lady on 5/12 who was unapologetic and just wanted to rush him off the phone. She kept on telling him roses does not last more than 4 days. She asked for his name to look up the order then she followed up with there’s nothing else she can do. He was surprised she couldn’t tell he was one of their loyal customers after she had asked for his name to look him up. I still have other flowers and roses at my shop that was sent from other florists

I understand that some things are seasonal. But the kind of money that was spent here they could have at least added more flowers(to substitute for the lack of a specific flower). The love pup looked decapitated in a bed full of green plants. The other order was full of greens also and the stargazers looked more like SADgazers.

Brian at Tobler's Flowers was SO helpful in my selection of a arrangement for a friend's mom's funeral. He even looked up the time of the Viewing at the Church for me. I also asked if they had any butterflies that could be pinned on. I know it was an "extra" ask but my friends and I were not going to be able to attend since it was out of state and wanted our " thinking of you" symbol to be there. He quickly responded that he would be sure to do that and would deliver the flowers an hour before the Viewing so hey would be a comfort to our friend. Very personable

Very impressed... I've used different floral shops around the KC area over the years for my wife and thought I'd try somewhere new. Searched floral shops and Toblers came up and so I called. Spoke to a young lady who was very pleasant. I asked her how long they were in business and she said they have been in the Kansas City area for 100 years so I figured they knew what they were doing. My wife received her delivery same day and she loved them. If they are this good every time I will keep ordering. Very impressive. Nice work.

5/13/19 I ordered from FTD.com for Mother's Day. The arrangement looks a tad different. Wished they would've had the vase instead of this. My mom said they seem like they were in a car for too long. Wish they took care of that little problem

I just received a message from my friend in KC that received the flowers I sent him for his father's passing. He said they are beautiful and he is deeply touched. THANK YOU BRIAN! I had no idea who to call so I went to the first review on Yelp (I am from out of town). Toblers sent an amazing arrangement at a very good price. I ordered a plant to be delivered on a Saturday and when it didn't arrive, I called and spoke to Brian who was really understanding about the mix-up. The next day, not only did my plant arrive, but Toblers delivered a really beautiful plant to say sorry with a note.
It really made the day special and exceeded expectations. Thank you for taking care of the mix-up and I would recommend this florist in the future again and again for delivery in the KC area. I ordered from NYC and they were really great in being in contact.

Once again, Toblers steps up! My ex brother in law passed away and I needed flowers. I'm 1300 miles away and the last time that I ordered from the Teleflorist/800 flowers groups, the let me down and the day before the funeral! Toblers stepped up then too. I have not been disappointed by them - at all.
They do great work and fast too. VERY pleased! Hopefully the next time I need their services it will be for something HAPPY.

Yesterday, I received an email from the owner of the store and he said sorry, expressed that he wants to make it right, and wanted me to experience it first hand that Toblers will take care of its customer.
I had changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star and now I'm going to give them 3 stars. I believe that businesses have to do their best to do it right the first time. However, I understand that Toblers is trying to fix the situation so I'm giving them a better rating.

Excellent, all around. Arrangements are beautiful and the customer service was fantastic! Delivery is especially timely and polite! I heard one of the drivers even sings, if you request him to!
Overall, I wouldn't suggest any other flower place in the area! Nothing better than the long-standing tradition that Toblers flowers has brought to the greater Kansas City metro area!
