Our office is conveniently located just off the 19th Street Exit of Highway 16 in Tacoma, WA (30 miles from Olympia and Bremerton, 35 miles from Seattle and the Eastside, and 2,870 miles from New York, NY).

At the center of your tooth is pulp. Pulp is a collection of blood vessels that helps to build the surrounding tooth. Infection of the pulp can be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay, cracks, and chips, or repeated dental procedures. Symptoms of the infection can be identified as visible injury or swelling of the tooth, sensitivity to temperature, or pain in the tooth and gums.

I cannot give enough stars to this group from office staff to the dental assistant! I had been in pain for over 5 weeks going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out the sinus clogging, headaches, jaw pain, neck pain, etc...surely it wasn't my teeth as I have regular dental care and just had xrays 4 months prior. Finally figured out it was teeth by another endodontist that told me they needed to extract 2 teeth but this didn't justify my pain. I questioned that diagnosis and made my way here by referral from a trusted friend in the business. They saved the tooth, found a missed root on a prior

My experience here was amazing from beginning to end! I absolutely hate going to any dentist to get any work done, and I came here for a root canal. Dr. John West and Megan me feel so comfortable and at ease during my whole visit. I didn’t feel a thing and Dr. West was gentle as can be. I watched tv the whole time they were working on my teeth and I paid more attention to that then the actual work being done on my tooth. I will absolutely recommend Center of Endodontics to everyone!

They made room for me to have an emergency appointment, which I absolutely appreciate! Dr. John West is very friendly and Katey is wonderful. A great team and comfortable environment. They explained the procedure thoroughly and prioritized my comfort, even giving me a blanket. They take the CDC precautions for COVID seriously and I felt safe. 100% would recommend

It's not very often that you enjoy seeing a dentist, but I actually had an enjoyable experience. The office is a very relaxing environment, the staff is extremely friendly, and the doctors are personable and take time to actually listen to your complaints. They also, kept their promise to follow up with me and I appreciated that.

Every Visit you are treated as a VIP. I have been coming here for the last 10 years as a referral from my Dentist and most recently from the VA. I wish I could have all my dental needs taken care of by Dr West. He is a consumate professional and Technical Master of his Craft. The Staff are wonderful, from the moment you step in the door and every step thereafter, they are attentive to your needs. To summarize: Technical Competency is a 10. Customer service is a 10.

Everything about my visit was professional and friendly. The facility was spotless. Careful attention was paid to a safe and sterile operatory practices. The receptionist was courteous and efficient. I had an extended appointment and each and every contact with the staff and doctors was focused on my comfort and wellbeing. Every procedure was explained in advance and during the process. Many consults were required during my visit because of the complicated nature if my issue. I felt completely confident that I was receiving the very best endontic care available.

Dr. John West was amazing!! I was referred by my regular dentist to them for an emergency service and was able to get me in the next morning to help me with the pain!!! Dr. West followed up with me that evening to make sure everything was ok. Few days later over the weekend (Sunday) started experiencing pain again. I did not want to text him but being concerned I did. He responded on a Sunday morning to me within an hour and was able to squeeze me in the following morning to ease the ache. I appreciate the customer service being a business owner myself and recommend them to all. Thanks again!!
