Services
Our primary purpose is to serve clients whose pets are members of their family and want the best health care for them. We continually strive for excellence in medicine and service so as to enrich and lengthen the special relationship between people and their pets. River Heights Veterinary Hospital strives to "give back" to the community.
A variety of diseases that affect dogs and cats can be successfully managed by selecting a prescription diet specially formulated to manage the individual disease. As a member of your family, you want your dog or cat to remain a vital, loving part of your life for as long as possible. We recommend puppy preschool and kindergarten to our new family members between 2-6 months of age.
Providing your pet with exceptional health care is not inexpensive. We practice need-based veterinary care- offering individualized products and services that will enrich and lengthen the life of your pet. We feel that the comprehensive veterinary care at River Heights Veterinary Hospital, in particular, is an excellent value in pet health care today.
Staff is the best been going here almost 6 yrs with my Boxer I trust them completely even have my dog groomed here. We placed the care of our pet cat in the hands of the doctors at River Heights. He had 15 wonderful years and was well taken care of before his passing. We now have a nine week old puppy and guess where we went to for his health care ~ River Heights!

I recently switched vets and I love River Heights. The previous vet had very long wait times (1- 1/2 hours even if you had an appointment). With River Heights, they get you in a your scheduled time and get you out fast and the staff is friendly. Dr. Anderson takes the extra time to explain what is going on with your animal and treatment options.

Our furbaby developed a sudden fever, shaking , vomiting. We were able to get in first thing in the morning after being sent away from VCA the night before because she wasn’t “critical “ . We were so scared & everyone at River Heights was AMAZING! Dr. P was so reassuring!!! She went through all the options & expenses. She even called to check on her the next day! We love being patients their!! Amazing place!!! Thanks 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Dr. Anderson and the River Heights staff. They were unbelievably friendly and kept me well informed of my very ill cat. It was my first visit and my cat needed emergency surgery. I cannot imagine going anywhere else now. I was so nervous to just drop her off but I could tell she was in such good hands. They provided great education and made me feel such at ease. I will be forever grateful for their services and the price wasn’t bad either! I am looking forward to seeing them again for the follow up. I couldn’t ask for a better vet.

We were recommended by my wife boss. Love the doctor and the staff. Since we have been coming here, we never had a bad experience.
The veterinarian has been honest and straight forward with every thing. The staff calls and text messages when your appointment is near. They always follow-up after your pet has been released into your care. I love that. Overall I am pleased and happy.
