It looks like you're in the wrong place when you first pull up to the parking area but don't turn away! When you arrive, park in the designated area, then walk up to the military gaurd to show your iD.
Loved the ocean view while dining at this establishment. It was so nice to sit by the water in a quiet-ish area. You don't get that as much when you live in town.
The service was wonderful! They constantly checked on us and made sure we were taken care of.
4 stars because although the food was good, it wasn't mind blowing. I would definitely come back for the vibes and it

The setting was absolutely beautiful. However, our food was pretty mediocre and over-priced. I ordered the furikake ahi rare and it came out dry and overcooked. There were also a ton of flies on the outside deck which I know they probably can't really help, but it was super irritating to be swatting away flies the whole dinner. They should have citronella candles at each table. The service also wasn't great and our server was a bit rude.

Impressed. So so so impressed. Hands down one of the best places in Waianae to have a meal. Definitely a lot of fun to go to. Once you pass the military check point and get to the front doors, it almost feels like the whole world disappears behind you!
This cute restaurant is situated on the beach connecting to Pokai bay. The views are stunning and the food is amazing! We love to come here for breakfast. I always get the 604 breakfast that has eggs of your choice, meat, rice and hash browns. I love the pancakes, they make the best pancakes possible on the island and are large enough to share with

Met a friend for lunch after a swim sesh.
I had the Ahi Katsu that was recommended by my server. It was delish and cooked perfectly medium rare with a nice crisp on the outside.
My friend had the Mac Nut Mahi-mahi. It was just okay, kinda bland.
Good food. Great service. Beautiful ocean front scenery. Awesome company.
Will I return? Yes.

This place left a lot to be desired. We came on a Monday night, and it was pretty crowded. You have to park in a little dirt alley because the restaurant is located on US government property (be prepared to show an ID to the military guard). My biggest complaint is the service. We waited around 15-20 minutes to get a menu. My sister ordered a margarita, and it took at least 20 minutes for it to come, and it tasted awful--so watered down. The food was just ok. The coconut shrimp was the best thing we got. The Thai chili dipping sauce was tasty. The Caesar salad was good but overdressed (made it

Five star view and three star food nets a four star review. I'd go for a sunset cocktail and skip the below average deep fried out of the freezer food. I was expecting great Hawaiian Fish and chips from the menu description, but the fries (corn I suspect) were powdery and mushy. The flavorless white fish was lost in the very heavy breading. The pineapple slaw, was just slaw, ok but not very Hawaiian. If you can find this place and aren't put of by the soldier at a gate to get past on the way, the view was amazing.

Was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. I'm from town and it was my first time to hear about this restaurant. I'm glad I tried it out! It was a Sunday and they had the games on. Its a great place to watch sports and have a beer or to just bring your family to enjoy the view while you dine. The view of the ocean was amazing! Service was great! I'll be back if ever I'm in the area. The portions were huge so be prepared to take some leftovers.

A restaurant serving the typical American and Hawaiian dishes, such as burgers, katsu, tacos, pasta, and steaks. Towards the back has a large outdoor patio with a pleasant waterfront view. It was rather rowdy during our visit as there was a sports game being shown on the televisions by the bar.
-----
Ahi Katsu: panko crusted ahi & wasabi mango-teri sauce. Served with rice, mac salad & greens ($15).
A standard dish without anything that particularly stood out for me. The ahi was cooked decently for the most part, although the exterior breading of the katsu was not that crispy.

First, a note: if you come upon this place and it looks like you aren't supposed to be here, you're in the right spot. There's a military guard that will look at your ID and then wave you through.
Service here was incredible, some of the best we've had on Oahu! Friendly, engaging, and attentive.
The ocean views and ambiance here are also incredible. You get to eat to the sounds of roaring waves.
The cocktails are good Hawaiian fun without being too cheesy or too expensive.
4-stars because while the food is good, it's not really mind-blowing.
I got the mac-nut Mahi

Wow. This place was fire. I loved every second.
The staff is super nice. Our waitress Rayla did an awesome job. Always came over to check on us. Really friendly. Filled our waters as the sun was beating down on us (which we liked).
We got the kalua nachos, fish and chips, and coconut shrimp to split between two people. Plenty of food. We were stuffed. The best thing was the coconut shrimp and it was half off on Wednesday's. GET IT. It was so freaking tasty. The sauce was incredible.
The fish and chips is really good. Even the ketchup they give was something special. The fish is crispy

Love this place! Live band, best view of Pokai Bay, drinks are on point and the food are sooo delicious!,as we say here in the island, it is ono!!
For pupus we ordered Poke nachos, pastels fries & wings. It was gone!! And the drinks... my filthy martini! My only problem was chicken curry was undercooked. Other than that it was great

I enjoyed this place when i first got out here, even if they are very limited on vegan options. Views and drinks are great but the menu needs to be refreshed in my opinion.
I can never get a truthful answer about the wait times when I call in. They also did away with call ahead seating and reservations. This dropped the rating a star.

True to its name, The Beach House sits right over the waters of Pokai Beach, offering picturesque sunset views amid the refreshing ocean breeze. As night falls, the lanai is gently illuminated by string lights. The live music felt a little loud but the band was great, boasting great vocals, song choice, and personality. Food was consistently tasty and reasonably priced.
Let's get the lost star out of the way first. We rolled off of the Maili Pillbox trail and found The Beach House up the road, so we checked in at 5:50pm at the front where the hostess informed us that it would be a 50 minute

Solid food with a nice view and great staff!
First - the calamari. 7.5/10 Our table if four gobbled it up as an appetizer while waiting for our main meals. No fuss and done the right way, but could've used a bit more flavor.
Our table got garlic shrimp, fish tacos, ahi katsu and another shoyu ahi thing. My ahi katsu.. i probably wouldn't get again because to feels like a waste to cook that raw fish and it felt a bit dry.
Got a taste of everything else it it was yummy! The restaurant was not crowded at all and you get a view of kids playing on the beachside.

The views here are phenomenal! You're right on the water and the ambience is beachy/relaxed. What more could you want when on a relaxing vacation?
Our server was Leolani and she was incredibly sweet! I ordered the drink called Into the Blue. It was delicious! I could have been drinking those all day!
We shared the calamari and kalua pork nachos. Both were really good. I absolutely loved the peppers in the calamari.

When we arrived here in Waianae, we were surprisingly greeted by a military soldier. He asked us if we were military and because we weren't, we were told to park outside of the property. No big deal. You just park on a dirt area. It was pretty unique I would say. We parked and then walked over to the restaurant property.
THE PROPERTY
We came to the area about 15 mins before they opened for lunch, so we scoped out the beach area. When you first walk up to the property, it's really obvious that they are next to the beach. It's called Pokai Bay or Pokai beach. Such a beautiful

We had family in town so visited the west side and stopped at the Beach House for drinks and food before heading south to the beach. Parking was difficult, even with a military ID trying to park in the gate given all the reserved spots.
We were seated immediately right next to the water which was beautiful and refreshing given the breeze. I ordered a Co-cojito that was ok, not overly impressive. It looked beautiful though especially in a pic with the ocean in the back.
I had the Cuban Sandwich with fries that was good. A little bready and greasy but pretty good overall.

I've been to a version of Beach House 604 in the past and always remembered how amazing the venue was: right on the water, a stage for live music and a hyper local place to chill with some friends over drinks.
Some things have changed since then. I believe they were bought out by the 604 Restaurant Group, and they got a facelift with new chairs, tables and some fresh paint. The things I remember fondly remain the same: amazing venue and ambiance right on Pokai Bay, and a stellar location for pupus and drinks.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon at around 3p. I read on Yelp they had Aloha Hour
