Take-out only! Came in at about 3pm to get a late Saturday lunch. They had a lot of options to choose from for proteins.
I got 6 fried manapuas (adobo, kalua and charsiu). I also got a kalbi manapua on the house to try out which was really nice of them. The wait wasn't too long either, less than 5 minutes. I love how they used symbols to coordinate which manapua had which filling.
I also got 4 spam musubis, gotta take advantage of that BOGO right?
Overall, great experience would definitely come back for the manapuas!

Cheap easy spot for lunch! they seemed extremely popular in the neighborhood - there was a line when I got there & there was a line when I left. the lady in front of me was asking a ton of questions about catering & then the guy in front of me got the last bit of noodles :(
ended up ordering fried rice which hit the spot after doing laundry for the past hour or so. it's not something I would return for TBH, but I watched them pile on the food in their combo meals. they really give you a lot for the price you pay, completely worth it!

The food was good but not to the expectations I had from the reviews. I had the sweet and sour pork, fried fish, bbq pork fried rice, and chow mein. Serving size is pretty hefty. Also ordered mini manapuas to go. The fried manapuas were better than the steamed in my opinion, with the crab cream cheese and spinach mozzarella being the best of the dozen that we ordered. We also got some pre made bento boxes which werent bad either.
I suggest having labels or tags on the food as it's cafeteria style ordering and you point out what you want but the workers seemed in a hurry so it was really pressuring

Kudos to Honolulu Kitchen for being open on Christmas! We drove around in circles trying to find food to pick up for the holiday and Honolulu Kitchen was our saving grace! The steamed, baked, and fried manapuas are our favorite. Char siu - a classic. Cannot go wrong! Crab and curry pork fried manapuas are my personal favorite. They also have many already prepared dishes and bentos for you to purchase. Very delicious and fresh. Also to note: manapuas are about a 5-7 minute wait time for them to cook fresh. Practically no wait time at all, if you ask me. So very convenient!

I've order small trays of food for parties and thus far have been happy with many positive comments about the food. It's reasonably priced and they have a variety of items available.
Although they close earlier than most food establishments, they accommodate and allow you to pick up the food even after closing time as long as you pay a head of time over the phone.
This establishment also is very giving and after hours feeds the homeless instead of throwing away their food. What a great way of giving back to the community and people in need.

What can I say... I love crispy baked/fried Manapua's and Honolulu kitchen is the best so far! They have the fried or steamed mini manapuas ready and 1.40$ per one or 16.75$ a dozen.
The flavor of the manapuas immaculate!
We get the Charsiu and pizza they are bomb! Whoel family loves them I'm really tempted to try the honey garlic chicken
They also do custom hand drawings in the manapuas so adorable!
Really love this manapua place so glad I found this place! if you didn't try yet GO AND TRY!!

11/18/2021 It's been a long time since I had takeout from here. Missed this place! Today I had half Char siu fried rice, half Chow fun, with Chicken zucchini and mushrooms and Long beans with pork. So delicious and the long beans had the right amount of crunch that I like! I can make 3 meals out of one plate since it's packed and heavy! Hubby had Minute chicken, Szechuan pork and eggplant with Chow mein. He also bought fried chicken skin. Super crispy and fresh! I love Honolulu Kitchen!
The owner is super friendly & the employees are quick & helpful! One of my favorite places & they give a lot

I have been buying food from Honolulu Kitchen for a long time now. Their food is consistently good and is always a hit! Their Manapua is full of meat. You definitely don't need to hunt for filling. Even the family in the mainland enjoys them when I bring it with me. He offers mini size as well which is perfect for my liking. Many different flavors, steamed or deep fried! The hot dog Manapua is a hit with the younger generation! The plate lunch varieties are endless with the many different choices of starches and entrée items. The owner, Steve, is a nice humble man. He works with me all the

Was so excited to come back for manapua and this time they were not soft or fluffy or nearly as good as on my first visit. They were even a different size. What happened?
They got my phone order wrong, mixed up the steamed and baked, and miscounted on the availability of some of the (granted, more unusual) fillings I'd ordered.
Sadly, this second time had similar service issues as my first visit. Disorganized, unclear mobs greet everyone who come in the door, friendly but totally overwhelmed and undersupported counter staff, and a phone that rings off the hook non-stop. Staff are totally

My sister needed a snack, so stopped to grab some Fried Char Siu Manapua and it was way better than the last time I had it. So the following day went back to get other dim sum items, Gau Gee, Pork Hash and different Manapua ( sweet potatoes, taro, custard & chocolate). They offered other food, 2 different breakfast bento, etc

This is one of my mother-in-law's favorite places to go and at one point they knew her name lol. She always brought home their fried manapuas before it became a big thing and we tried all their flavors. It's perfectly fried with the contents still moist and juicy depending on what you get.
For parties, their garlic chicken is the besttttt. I can eat that straight up with no rice and I'll be good. So crispy, juicy, their marinade is amazing and the garlic flavor always comes thru. I also love their kalua pig. So good I cannot fathom honestly. But always gta keep in mind for catering

This was my least favorite food when I was in Honolulu. I came on the latter part of their business hours and they have turo turo. I had some pork and beef with rice and noodles. They're known for their manapaus and luckily they had very few left. I tried Thai curry and adobo. My favorite of the two was the adobo. The curry was okay. The food I got was very salty!! I had to hydrate myself so much to compensate for the sodium intake.
Next time if I come here i'll just get their manapaus not their food.

Went around 11 wasn’t to bad but had to wait about 10 mins. Really great selection of mana pua and I love the baked charsiu it’s so sweet on the outside and nice and salt inside! My wife got a million different fried ones and the guy that helped me was nice enough to label them. A must try when on this side.

Stumbled upon Honolulu Kitchen looking for a new place to try!
Came in late afternoon. Unfortunately, none of the screens were on, nothing really to pick out what we wanted. When it was our turn to order, we opted for a regular bento. Which included either rice/noodles and two entrees. I opted for half noodles and half fried rice (I believe it was with corn hash). For the entrees, I saw the garlic chicken looked pretty good. I asked the staff what other items are popular. She looked around and said not much. It seemed we were a bit late and they probably sold out, but was pretty funny she didn

Wow this place is amazing. Best dim sum we found on the island. Incredible cha siu bao (bbq pork bun). Awesome fried manapuas. Impossible to beat the prices. Very friendly staff and perfect service. If you’re thinking about coming here you need to. Probably the most satisfying meal I’ve had on Oahu. 15/10
Not the best picture but we had already absolutely demolished the size able meal. I cannot emphasize enough what a good deal this place is.

Great place! Amazing service! Huge portions!
Those things alone should get you here! One plate should feed at least two people!
On this visit I had the mushroom chicken, chow mein, and roasted chicken thighs!
My plate weighed what felt like 10lbs! Th chicken thighs were seasoned well and not overdone, the mushroom chicken had huge chunks of zucchini and mushrooms along with juicy chicken and the chowmein was the perfect side.
I didn't finish even half the plate. Lol!
Always a great time if you're hungry and want awesome food and lots of it!

Update: Please...clean your shop. The dust is thick, grey, and your unusually modern light fixtures have many very visible levels on which they collect dust bunnies.
_______________
Initially very wary of purchasing manapua in Waipahu, this shop changed my mind. Clean shop in an unexpected strip mall area. Free parking, shared with a bunch of other shops. Rail is being developed right outside their front door, and a rail station being built a few hundred meters away. Traffic is difficult at times, be prepared to be careful turning and exiting. Having said that, I do think it is worth the drive
