Dr. John Maniatty graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, then worked at a veterinary hospital in the Allentown, PA area for 7 years before falling in love with the Delmarva area. Dr. John bought Ocean City Animal Hospital where he built a large practice based on exceptional care for both animals and their companions.

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) approved checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.

Thorough examinations of our three dogs, and a vet that spends her time explaining all medical needs and considerations. They are not the least expensive, but the first vet visit for our dogs in the last three years while living in Sussex County where we've been very satisfied, and confident our dogs are getting excellent care.

I was at Bethany beach for a week on vacation when my 6 month old puppy began having terrible diarrhea. I called Precious paws for help and I have to say, they went above and beyond. They were so kind, taking my many calls and answering my questions. One of the vets even picked up a specific medication I needed from another vets office. I’m very grateful !

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness
Dr Maniatty and Dr Hawthorne are amazing doctors who care for my 28 year old cockatoo, Willy. I feel so fortunate to have them close to our home. The office staff, Tammy in particular, rise to every occasion to make a lot over Willy. I am so thankful for the care Willy gets in this office.

I made an appointment about a month ago....I had the appointment time wrong and missed the appointment. They could hear the distress in my voice and made an urgent cate appointment for my sweet dog Lola!! The vet herself was awesome!! Knowledgeable and professional I am so happy we found them makes me comfortable knowing that I have a great vet in my home away from home!!
