OK, you know you need them. But, it's not always easy to find the time to schedule a dental exam. Too many people put off routine exams until a real problem arises. Don't be 'that' person! The late Paul Harvey stated that dentistry is the only profession dedicated to putting themselves out of business.
Scared of undergoing a major dental procedure? Dr. Anthony J Denavarra's dental office specializes in IV sedation dentistry. We realize that some dental surgical procedures may be very involved, and may require more time. For these types of operations, you may opt for IV sedation. IV sedation simply means that, after a gentle pinprick, you will rest comfortably throughout the entire procedure, with a new smile.
The term 'oral sedation' is a misnomer. The state of Florida does not recognize oral sedation. Oral anxiolytics take the edge off but true sedation anesthesia should come from titration. Oral meds cannot be titrated to predictable safe levels. IV sedation allows us to see the patient's response to an incremental dosage and adjust it as needed for the patient's comfort.
Our implant placement is what we call "restorative driven implant placement" which means that we will place the implant where it needs to go to make the patient function and smile without reservation. This means that if there is no bone in that location then we put bone there or treatment plan accordingly.
The St. Petersburg Times had an article on 6/13/2011, Skipping Dental Visits Proving Costly. Many put off tooth care as their budgets tighten. That can hurt mouth and wallet by Richard Martin. The late Paul Harvey stated that dentistry is the only profession dedicated to putting themselves out of business.

The thought of going to the dentist is so nerve racking that I've been putting it off but it has to be done! I've had a couple of different dentist but have not had the experience that I've had with Dr. Navarro. He made me feel comfortable and was very entertaining. His staff was phenomenal, kudos to their great patient experience. If you read reviews because you are really interested in a good recommendation them this is a great place. Annie is your first initial contact person and she is the best.

Dr. Tony is an energy-filled positive force in the dental office. He is welcoming, honest, highly knowledgeable and expertly skilled in high end dental work.My extensive plan includes bridges, implants and gum work. I have complete trust in his work as he handled very difficult procedures for both my son and my brother. Phenomenal results! Dr. Tony is one of the best humans you will ever meet and he is a master dentist on top of that!

Dr. Tony is the best!!! Friends referred this awesome professional to me a few years ago and I'm very thankful for him and his outstanding staff who all treat me like a piece of gold! I've been a patient of Dr. DeNavarra for 20 years, and from day one he has continued to gain my trust and respect. I came to him in my mid 30's with a mouthful of issues. His knowledge then was superior, and since has only increased. His devotion to his profession keeps him always continuing his education and perfecting his method of treatment.
