With over 20 years of Physical Therapy, and 20 years of General Contractor and remodeling experience, we can help make your home fit your needs now and down the road! We will gladly collaborate with your builder or contractor to provide the medical understanding and expertise to make your new build or remodeling project a success!
This client went with a "X-Y" or "H" style system that allows her to use the lift in any position or direction within the range of the 2 sets of rails. This bathroom is very narrow, wall damage from the wheelchair hitting the wall during transfers to the toilet, sink is not accessible. Before: tall concrete steps with no railing, very difficult for the owners to get in safely.
We start with a complimentary home visit or phone screening with you and your family or caregivers. We will discuss you and your current struggles, your goals, and get a sense of what in your home is preventing you from reaching your goals. This is when we get to know each other, the "big picture" and if we will be able to meet your needs.
If you or a loved one is getting ready to discharge home and your house is not ready, what should be a joyous occasion can be stressful and scary. We can visit and meet with you and your loved ones at the hospital, skilled nursing facility, or where ever you are.
With your permission, of course, we will contact your healthcare team, learn about your medical and functional status, what equipment is coming home with you, and what your caregivers will need when you discharge home.We will then go out to your home, meet with your family, friends or caregivers and complete a home assessment before you even discharge home from the facility.

Dave installed safety railings on our front porch, over-the-toilet safety railings, and built wood walker-friendly safety step boxes for our sunken living room, and exit to the garage. He responded to my inquiry right away and did the work the very next day. He was prompt, fast, thorough, pleasant, and worked tirelessly until all jobs were done.
