It was 1993 when David Hall began his construction career in Bend, Oregon after growing up on a small farm west of Tumalo. For his entire life, Bend and the surrounding outdoors have been his playground. Skiing, snowboarding, whitewater kayaking and canoeing, mountain biking, backpacking, paddle boarding, and trail running have all been a large part of his life in Central Oregon.
David's love for the Central Oregon outdoors and it's open spaces blends perfectly with his passion for beautiful homes and outdoor living spaces that complement this environment and his clients who live and play in it. Great attitude, wonderful lead carpenter with a ton of experience in remodeling and new construction, uses professional subcontractors who are neat when working in your home. I am a retired custom home builder, who also worked in remodeling and home additions, so I was very happy to find David Hall of DH Builders once we moved to Bend OR. Imagine this, a remodeling contractor who returned an initial phone call, and a number of subsequent ones while he organized and worked on a couple of small projects on our home in NorthWest Crossing. 5-stars and an equal number of thumbs up for David.

We found DH Builders through our home automation team (HSS, also excellent). Dave and his team remodeled both our home theater and a second room. From start to finish, and through all the normal challenges of a remodeling job, Dave guided his team to a beautifully crafted and finished project. If something wasn't perfect, Dave and his team made it right.

Winter of 2016/2017 - I interviewed many contractors as a result of damage done to my roof and roof eaves from ice dams/ice dam removal. The repairs were complicated and demanded more than a general roofer would agree take on. Sixty-five percent of homes in Bend had damage inside and out from weather related storms that winter so contractors were busy! I chose David Hall as my general contractor for several reasons that made the process of getting the damages repaired in a timely manner. David is well connected with many tradespeople in town (he grew up here!) He took the time to get bids and price
