It can be scary to let go of a substance that has been a huge dependency, especially with the daunting knowledge of withdrawal in the near future. This is a vulnerable time for clients and their families and The View wants to make sure that everyone has the support needed. We understand that treatment is most successful with family involvement.
The View, a luxury detox and stabilization center in Brentwood, CA, provides highly individualized and tailored programs to clients, since addiction issues can vary from person to person. Some of the addictions treated at The View include alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and opiates. The View's focus is sub-acute detoxification in a luxurious environment.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy is used to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Studies have shown that EMDR can help reduce the emotional stress stemming from traumatic memories and experiences. EMDR replaces negative emotional reactions to difficult memories with less-charged or positive reactions or beliefs.
The View offers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as an additional service to its clients. CBT focuses on exploring the relationship between a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During CBT, our team actively works with clients to discover unhealthy patterns of thought and how they might be causing self-destructive patterns and beliefs.
This simple and pleasant learning modality can help shift the way the brain distributes and produces its electrical frequency. Four types of impulses are produced by the brain (Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Theta Bands). These impulses are also called "frequency bands" and tell us which parts of our brain are active.

By far the "softest" landing I've ever had. I was treated with respect, dignity and compassion from the moment I arrived to the day I left to begin my journey. I cannot compliment the amazing chef, clinical directors, techs and nurses enough for their genuine concern and love. I'm happy to answer questions privately if anyone is looking at The View for themselves or a family member.
