Dr. Keith Wolfenden is a 2010 graduate of the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to attending dental school, he earned his bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida. After initially practicing in Trinity, FL he relocated to Colorado in 2019. Dr. Wolfenden is honored to have the opportunity to take over Berthoud Dental Care as Dr. Jim Deschene retires.

Dr. Jim Deschene is a 1982 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. After initially practicing in Lincoln, NE for 2 years, he moved to the Denver area in 1984. In 1999 he reestablished his top-rated dental practice in Berthoud, CO. With 30 years of experience, Dr. Deschene (or Jim) has developed considerable expertise in all phases of general dentistry.

All of our staff members have many years of experience in the dental field. Our staff consists of three business assistants, two clinical dental assistants, and two dental hygienists.

I was referred to BDC by a friend and my experience was very, very positive!
As i walked in the front door, I was met by Renee at the front desk who was very friendly! I filled out a few forms and took a seat for less than 5 minutes. Then Vicki, the RDH, did my initial exam and cleaned my teeth. She was friendly, professional and thorough. Dr. Wolfenden also was very friendly and professional. He took pictures of the 2 teeth I'd had some problems with and explained very thoroughly what needed to be done, also giving me an idea of what it would cost. I will definitely be going back to BDC! I have been going here for 10 years and they always do a great job! They do reminder calls, scheduling next appointments, remember your name, and are all around great! Nicole was my latest hygienist and did an amazing job and was super friendly and experienced! Dr. Deschene is honest and professional and they don’t try and upsell you like the chain dentistry places.

The folks at Berthoud Dental (Dr. Deschene) are the best: friendly, professional, and understanding (I have a history of BAD dental experiences- I now believe a dental visit is not to be dreaded). The prices for their services are very reasonable, even for someone like me who does not have dental coverage. You will not be disappointed!
