Isom Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the Lampasas County area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Kelli Isom, Dr. Trampus Isom, Dr. Jenna Crouch, and Dr. Saylor, who are licensed, experienced, and dedicated veterinarians. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
As a new client of our Veterinary Hospital in Lampasas, you can expect our full attention to your pet's needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.
Becky is a native of Lampasas. She graduated from Lampasas High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State Universitly. She returned to Lampasas after college and taught school for 32 years. She is the proud mother and mother-in-law of the owners of Isom Veterinary Hospital. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her two grandkids, Preston and Cayhil!
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Staff is super nice and prices are very reasonable. The only issue I had was waiting 40 minutes to get into a room. It seems like they try to hurry to get walk ins taken care of causing those with appointments to wait. I understand that they don't want the waiting room clogged, but unless it's an emergency, walk-ins should be the ones waiting.

Front office staff, vet techs and Dr. Trampus Isom are superb. They all make you feel your pet is the only one they have, even when you see a waiting room full. Front office staff are efficient, professional and caring. Vet Techs are great, they listen, understand and treat your pet as their own. Dr. Isom, hands down the best!! Gives you a diagnoses, treatment and working plan to help your pet if needed, talks to you, helps you to understand. Even if just yearly visit, he still talks with you and listens to you.

They diagnosed my dog with having a mass on her heart in November. They gave me pain meds for her and told me to keep her comfortable. Today, April 5, I called to have her seen because she had a really bad weekend. They first told me they couldn't see us until tomorrow but when I gave them my name and said it was urgent- they fit me in today. I am very happy with all their suggestions and care.

My daughter is a vet tech in another city. She noticed my 11 year old cat's gums were swollen and encouraged me to take him in. I chose Isom and I'm so glad I did.
They were professional, courteous, and compassionate. I got there early and they came out almost immediately into the hot sun to get my baby. They explained their findings in detail, gave me options for treatment, and did surgery the next day. They gave me a printout of the expected cost so I wouldn't be blind sighted.
It was expensive, but I doubt it would have been cheaper anywhere else. I sent my daughter the estimate

Today was just to evaluate my cat. EXCELLENT service. They were attentive, interested, and accommodating. You sit in the car and they come to you. So much extra for them to do! Everyone I dealt with was compassionate, attentive, and trying to help me sort through my options. If his surgery tomorrow is anywhere close to the customer service we received today.... I will be a forever customer...

Normally I don't bother to give bad reviews, I just don't use the person or business' service any more, HOWEVER! For those of you who might be considering using these people.We took our dog in for a routine dental cleaning and they totally destroyed my faith in them. Her neck was bruised and swollen and she had pockets of fluid in her neck and… legs, like a water balloon. I called after hours to see what to do and they don't do anything for you after hours, they refer you to someone in KILLEEN! I left 2 messages and an email. The next morning they called back but it was not in reference
