Procedures done cats are challenging for a variety of reasons, one being that they often don't want to be still while doctors and staff are trying to help the animal. They also have a level of stress that comes from being in an unfamiliar environment. Because of this, the use of anesthesia is a beneficial way to give pets the care they need.
Here at Crossroads Veterinary Hospital, we are happy to be able to offer dermatology services to our patients. Dermatology revolves around the skin. Many pets routinely have skin problems, which can be quite challenging for our veterinarians. Some of the skin problems we routinely see include fleas and other parasites.
Dogs can be allergic to almost anything, similar to allergies in people. Pets can be allergic to allergens in their household environment, outside environment, or even their food. Symptoms can range from itchiness and ear or eye infections to constant licking, and even vomiting or diarrhea. Many pets suffer from allergies which can directly affect their quality of life, as well as their owner's.
We offer solutions for a variety of behavioral issues that pet owners are faced with. Behavioral problems can be challenging and frustrating for both pets and pet owners, so it is our goal to work with you towards a solution. There are many behaviors that can be negative or destructive, and many pet owners feel helpless in bringing peace to their home.

In all the years we have trusted you for the care of our cats - the staff there has always been friendly and very professional. We have never been dissatisfied with you folks - even when you didn't give us the answers we wanted to hear. But the honesty you gave us is one of main reasons we continue to return to you. If I had to pick one staff member to give a special "Thank You" to - - - I couldn't do it. From the individual at front check-in desk - to the technician that sees out pet - to the doctor - to the check-out counter - - - there is no way to call out any one person. They're ALL SUPER

Dr. Logan Beene was very helpful and took the time to sit explain everything in detail and discuss a series treatment options. He was very personable and caring and all the staff were super nice. I would absolutely recommend him to others and will be bringing all my pets here from now on.

I was having a lot of trouble finding a vet in our area that I felt I could trust. After my visit the other day I left feeling comfortable and that my animals would be safe in their care. I appreciates both my technician and my vet for having a full conversation with me about my pet and making my dog a priority.
My dog was also very comfortable. She showed very little worry/nervousness with the tech and the vet.
I had tried other vets and they had made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome for my questions and anxiety about my pets care. This vet was perfect.

I don't remember the names of the tech and vet that took care of us, but they were both absolutely wonderful. They were able to make everything super easy to understand while making sure kitty was as comfortable as possible. Everyone in the staff treated us wonderfully, and I can't wait to make that our cat's primary vet.

This vet office was so unbelievably kind. My beloved pet passed away during our drive to Texas. Crossroads was so kind and understanding. They showed kindness and compassion toward my family and our pet. They also have amazing prices. I am so impressed with this vet and will definitely be using them again for the care of our other fur babies. Thank you Crossroads!

I just wanted to thank the wonderful staff for their kindness and immediate help during a very emotional time for me. Although my sweet Denis is no longer with us, the staff of this hospital were very responsive to his needs, sincere with his health condition and comforting when my companion crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you for being there for me, and expressing love to a stranger at such a difficult time. I am grateful I chose this business for the care of my furry loved one.
