Dr. David Kao is a board certified periodontist and specializes in periodontics and dental implants. After graduating from UCLA in 2004, he completed specialty training in Periodontology and Dental Implants at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing as Periodontist since 2007.
Dr. Soraya Safi grew up in Southern California and attended California State University, Fullerton, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biology. There she met her husband of 17 years. She went on to receive her dental degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona. She provides general and cosmetic dentistry using modern technology.
When you come to our dental office in Huntington Beach you can expect to find a warm and inviting environment. Our remodeled office includes recessed lighting, tile floors, modern glass features and local art. But what you don't see may surprise you. We have gone green! During our remodel in 2010, we replaced traditional dental x-rays with digital radiography.
With the help of technology the field of dentistry has been revolutionized. We now offer better faster solutions for traditional oral health problems than ever before. For example, with digital x-rays, we can provide you more accurate images, with less radiation exposure and decrease your time in the chair.

I really appreciate each and every persons kindness, smiling faces, positive attitude and very professional work at this dental office. I have been going there for like a month now and Dr. Safi took care of one lost filling ( from my previous dentist from several years ago) and did one crown, practically, with almost causing no pain to me. Andrew, was also very helpful during the scanning and building the crown .. A huge thank you both Dr. Safi and Andrew and front office people for their wonderful job done. I highly recommend these professionals on any dental work.

Had a great visit at Ford Dental Group! Christy was my first contact and so helpful from the start. When I came in Dr Ford was so informative and answered all my questions! All of the assistants and my hygienist was phenomenal! You can tell everyone loves being there. Great office and I recommend them to anyone looking!

I have been a patient of the Ford Dental Group for over 20 years starting with Julie Ford and making the transition to Jonathan after Julie and Scott retired and have noted many changes, all for the better.
Jonathan is not only a great dentist but a really nice guy who is very interested your overall health and always inquires about the family and other things that impact my overall health.
My favorite changes are the CNC machine that makes crowns in the office for installation the same day (no more temp crowns) and how they document the condition of your teeth with photos so you can see how

I had been seeing the Ford Dental Group for about 15 years before I had landed a new job that unfortunately had lousy dental insurance which Ford did not accept. So I reluctantly found another dentist that took my new insurance. I was in their office for 5 minutes before realizing this was a huge mistake. After my problem was misdiagnosed, I called Ford from my car and asked if I could "come home" and the answer was a huge "yes!" So, they made time that day and back I went. The staff is friendly and professional, the office is clean and modern and Dr. Ford very caring. I would recommend the Ford

I highly recommend Ford Dental Group! Very professional staff that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. I had some issues with insurance but Kristie at the front desk went out of her way to help me understand the coverage and get things worked out the insurance company. Such a relief to finally find a dentist that is thorough and fair. Will definitely be going back!

My first visit to the Ford Dental group was more than a pleasant experience, (if going to the dentist can be pleasant). The concern, care and comforting staff was incredible. The over and above customer service from Karla, Linda and Andre is something you just never see anymore. Dr. Ford's bedside manners and explanation of procedures puts the patient at ease, and the front office staff sets the tone as soon as you enter. Thanks to everyone. Ford Dental Group is a one stop shop that I highly recommend.

Growing up I always feared the dentist. It was a struggle to get me to the dentist for sure. But ever since I discovered Ford Dental group I have literally no discomfort or anxiety about dental work at all! The office is wonderful! It is so clean. I appreciate the snacks, candy, coffee and other beverages offered in their waiting room. I appreciate the light feeling of the office and the staff. Everyone is so nice. SO NICE. Every time I’ve gone in for either major work or just a cleaning, it’s been pretty pleasant. PS- They give you a blanket to stay comfy cozy during your appointment. It’s

My experience at Dr. Ford’s Dental Group was excellent. The office was clean and I was greeted by Kristie and Diana. I had X-rays and an appointment with Dr. Safi for a review of my oral health. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Next Karla cleaned my teeth and checked my gum health. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Linda helped me review future treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Ford’s Dental Group for all of your dental needs.
