Dr. Chavala Harris was raised in Winston-Salem, N.C. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor of Science Biology degree in 2003. She continued her education at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and received her D.D.S. in 2010. She completed her General Practice Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in 2012.

Regular oral examinations performed by our dentists can help detect and intercept dental problems such as tooth decay, gum disease and bone loss. After evaluating your child's teeth, bite and the supporting hard and soft tissues of the mouth our dentists will provide recommendations specific to your child that will help prevent dental problems in the future.
At Triad Kids Dental, our family dentists are committed to helping children develop good oral health habits that will last a lifetime. In addition to regular brushing and flossing at home, we recommend all of our patients receive a professional dental cleaning along with their oral examination at least every six months.
Dental sealants are thin white coatings that are applied to the chewing surfaces of back (molar) teeth. The chewing surfaces of molar teeth contain multiple pits and grooves which are difficult to clean with brushing and flossing alone. These areas can harbor plaque and bacteria, increasing the risk of developing tooth decay.

I have 2 children on the autism spectrum. Dr. Gillette and his hygienist were absolutely amazing. They took their time, dimmed the lights for her, there was a private room. Everything went so amazing I cried. This office is the best kids dentist I've ever been to. We left from kids smile in Asheboro because of the traumatic experiences we've had. I can't brag about how great this was. Ans how kind everyone in the office was.

OH MY GOSH THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! I have tried multiple dentist offices over the years and these guys are the best I've ever taken my kids too. They're extremely friendly, explain everything they're going to do, very patient with the kids, and careful with them. They're very, very thorough in looking over their teeth. The dentist and hygienist explain everything and follow up with me on if I had any questions. The facility is very clean and sanitize between patients. I highly recommend them!

This was my two boys first time going to the dentist. My oldest 4 years old and my youngest 2 years old. The experience was so awesome. Dr. Harris and staff were incredible. They were so patient and so very kind. They walked us through every step of the way. I love this dentist. I can really feel the love for children and the kid friendly environment that they offer. I would recommend Triad kids dental to anyone.
