Devon Young is an AMAZING teacher. From beginner to advanced, she's got something for everyone. I have particular appreciation for her gift of teaching basic foundational principles in a very clear and supported way, while also offering a challenging practice. The adjustments and options she gives allow you to really explore your practice in a way that's custom for your body. It takes a very nuanced teacher to make simple sequences so rich, interesting, and effective inside and out!

Yoga has completely changed my life, and I have Devon to thank for that!
I was always interested in the benefits of yoga-- like relieving stress and general fitness, but never knew where to begin... Devon was able to get me acquainted & comfortable with practicing yoga on a regular basis... which already has really improved my fitness and generally well-being drastically.
She has such an easy-going personality, and knows how to tailor a session to fit your needs, depending on what you're looking for. Definitely would recommend!

Devon is AMAZING!! I have been practicing with her for about 4 years and I continue to grow every time I take her class. She creates a space that is both inviting and challenging. Extensively trained in anatomy and alignment, she offers the perfect combination of strength and ease for ANY level of yogi...whether you're a veteran or just exploring your yoga practice. Devon is also the co-founder of Colibri Retreats and offers amazing opportunities to grow your practice in remote locations around the world. I had the oppotunity to attend a retreat in Costa Rica in 2017. Highly recommended!!

Devon is a wonderful teacher and an even better person! I am lucky enough to practice w/ her constantly and I was able to participate in her Costa Rica retreat (Colibri Retreats) in February 2017. What an amazing experience! She is that rare creature, the full-time yoga teacher, and it really shows! She brings her sunny personality to all of her teaching, which is based on solid alignment and thoughtful sequencing. Treat yourself and get some Devon yoga!!!

Devon is the best! I've been taking her class for over 4 years and I absolutely love her style of teaching. Not only will you never get bored with her very creative way of sequencing, but your body will feel AMAZING. This is because A) she knows her sh*t and B) because she gives the most yummy adjustments throughout class. She has the ability to make a class challenging enough for the seasoned yogi and simple enough for newbies at the same time. She seems to genuinely care about the progress of her students and she works in a very supporting yet motivating manner. Her classes are pure joy

Devon is such a thoughtful and smart teacher. Every class with her, I learn more about how my body works. She's down to earth, easy to talk to, and straight forward. Love her and her approach.

I've taken classes from Devon for several years and she's one of the best teachers I've had in LA, hands down, heels pushing toward the ground and butt up in the air in downward dog. And I've taken from a LOT of people in LA over the last 17 years. That said, I'm kinda a fair weather yogi bear so I take longer breaks between classes than I probably should, which makes me a hard student. I know some stuff, i forget some stuff -- in short I'm all over the place. But Devon always motivates me to do better, encourages me to do more (if I can) and to make the minor adjustments
