Staff members of Emerson Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. In addition to being a Funeral Director and Embalmer, Toby is the owner of Emerson Ambulance Service and is the Craighead County Coroner.
Our Memorial Chapel was built in 1996 and has a seating capacity of 500. We have upgraded our sound system and added a state-of-the-art video projection system to provide our families with the latest technological advances. Our state rooms are equipped for showing video productions to enhance the visitation by celebrating the individuals life.

I cannot say enough good things about every aspect of this funeral home. My mother in law recently passed away and Derrick significantly helped ease my family during this difficult time. My father, Michael Harris, passed away in August and Emerson were the ones who arrived and called his time of death. I’ve never had someone close to me pass away before, and with the shock and grief myself and my family felt, we went ahead and chose to move forward with Emerson for the funeral arrangements.
