I visited them recently, after stopping at a couple of Twin Cities "elite" jewelers (that made my skin crawl), and was very happy with the caring and patient interaction I had with Sarah and her crew. Phenomenal customer service. I needed a new watch band witch the Italian watch company couldn't deliver. Kathleen negotiated an all together new watch for me. I wasn't charged a penny. She chuckled when I offered to buy the office lunch even though I was quite serious.

We brought my vintage engagement ring in for resizing, cleaning, tightening of stones and an appraisal. My ring turned out so incredibly beautiful, I was left speechless. My ring is very unique and I really wanted to make sure that my insurance coverage could replace the exact ring if anything happened. My insurance agent had the jewelry department verify and they said that the appraisal I received was so well written and detailed that they were certain they could create an accurate reproduction. I was referred to Landmark, typical Saint Paul, for an appraisal of my great grandmother's wedding ring. I gave it to my wife and for our homeowner's insurance, we needed it appraised.

While they can appraise things while you wait, I'd call ahead to see if they can. If it's a Friday, they get backed up pretty easily.

I find the place small but charming. They were quite friendly and asked about me, my community involvement and my wife. That didn't happen at Moeller. Sadly.
