I met Lynn Heikke, President of Via-Virtual through a meet-up group. She has many years of experience in HR and training and recently started Via-Virtual, which is a social media training company, specializing in personal branding, LinkedIn, Twitter and blogging training seminars. Having been unemployed for over 8 months, I had no social media skills; I was on LinkedIn, but didn't know how to use it to my advantage, had heard of Twitter but had no idea what purpose it served and blogging, well, I don't blog....needless to say, I didn't realize the importance of social media skills
