With no notification of any kind at all, they reported to the credit bureau that my wife owed them money. Having never heard of this debt or the agency, she called them. The debt was from an adult child of ours who was still on our insurance. They are trying to say we owe for something we didn't even know about, weren't there for, didn't sign any papers making us financially obligated, and do not owe. Terrible company. Even if we had been responsible, there was zero communication ever from anyone to us about this bill at any time, ever to even know it was owed. They refuse to remove the debt. This

Unfortunately I had to speak with these people. The customer service was terrible, the payment options they set up weren't honored, and I jumped through every hoop I could possibly jump through in order to please them. No matter what you do, they'll call you anywhere from two times to six times a day and hassle you. Worst agency ever.

Debt collection is such a hard endeavor to be good at, because you've got such conflicting priorities with the people you are dealing with. I know that it's a difficult balance between their needs as a business, and your needs as a human being who happens to owe them money.

out of the blue Kansas Counselors calls and state i owe X number of money to them, i asked what for stating i never got a bill. They could not tell me what for, yet continued to harass me repeatedly. I have insurance so not sure why they didn't follow protocol or why they are trick or treating at my door. I would not recommend them. They are vultures and will bully and beat you down.

I spoke to a very nice gentleman who listened & understood my current situation. He seemed to honestly care. Together, we setup a payment plan sufficient to my budget & he assured me the account wouldn't report to my credit. This gentleman was very professional & went above & beyond my expectations in helping me resolve my medical bill! Great job KS Counselors!!!

Kansas Counselors go above and beyond in order to help out their community. They recently partnered up with Harvesters in order to stop hunger in their community. Their employees were recently challenged to pick up as many food and household products as they could within a 60-day time period, each time they went shopping. Their employees took this task very seriously, and dedicated their entire 60 days to doing just that. I just discovered that Kansas Counselors help give back to their community by sponsoring organizations like Youth Rise, which is a local kids' soccer team.
Youth Rise Jaguars and even Youth Rise itself, is such an inspiration as well as a motivation for positive change to all communities. Being that it is 100% of volunteering to give these kids a better path shines through the darkness and gives so much hope for our future generation. And this is not just a sports team, but seriously a family. I honestly wish I had this growing up. Their passion to succeed is phenomenal.

This is a rogue debt collection agency. I submitted documentation to prove that my debt was bogus and they have refused (after 3 months) to acknowledge my letters. I have reported them to the Kansas Attorney General. Though they have a high rating with the BBB, they have acquired 29 complaints. About to be 30.
