Drug and alcohol abuse leads to addiction, which leads to destructive behaviors, physical damage to the body, psychological damage to the brain, and can end with prison or worse, death. When individuals become addicted to a chemical substance or alcohol, most times simply making the decision to stop using isn't enough. I’ve had the best experience while being at Desert Cove Recovery! It really does take a village to get sober, and Desert Cove exceeded all my expectations by being knowledgeable and having such a caring staff, prime location, and continuous, heartfelt support that made me feel more like family than a client at a treatment center. Recovery is not easy, and you only get out what you put in. My advice to anyone considering Desert Cove is to really trust the process, and know that you are in the best hands, with the best people, and in the best place you possibly could be. I never should have gone in yesterday. I have 3 diseases/disorders causing anxiety and increased pain to my already disabling botched neck surgery (NOT FROM THEM) and low back/hip pain.
I moved all day and night -the day before, so how I even got there is a miracle. If you’ve been tortured by drs and their staffs for years - - you can TRUST these guys I’ll enter my docs name here when I find it lol. They got me from ER leveled l pain to a tolerable 6 and we’ve just started!

I do credit them with providing a safe place for me in early sobriety, but I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone. Nothing like what the website advertised. I was private pay signed for 90 day treatment and they kept me for 120 days. Could've bought a house for that money. I tried getting a massage like advertised cause I suffer from chronic back pain. They denied me of one cause they couldn't charge my insurance even though my treatment was paid for. All the good stuff I got from being there was the AA meetings they took us to and my sponsor. This is a life changing experience. The staff, support structure and team are 100 percent involved with your recovery. When I called Desert Cove I was at my lowest, their professional intake was stress free and helped me get out of my shell. The experience is for each client to witness but I have nothing but good things to say about Desert Cove

Desert Cove saved me. Entering desert cove I was broken, Defeated and emotionally closed off. Addiction had brought me to my knees & Desert cove and they're staff helped pick me up from that. They gave me a safe place to be vulnerable, they provided all of my needs from clothes, food and security. They also were nice enough to provide cigerattes. I was able to build a foundation for myself so I didn't have to live the life I was living. I was very lucky to have been ABLE to come and stay with desert cove for 4 months. I left with a plan, full of life and a whole new support network.

I can honestly say that Desert Cove saved my life. I was a completely broken women when I showed up. Scared, alone, terrified of losing my son but not knowing how to stop the cycle I was in. 30 days into my treatment I lost my husband and without the love and support of the staff at Desert Cove there is no way I would have maintained my sobriety. They supported and loved me and helped me to get through the hardest moment in my life and gave me the tools to become the mother, sister, friend I am today. And the relationships I built there continue to help me today. I thought I was a worse case scenario

I attended treatment here in hopes of finding a calm, peaceful, professional, soothing environment in which I could find a true spiritual awakening and make progress in my recovery...
My first day at the clinic involved witnessing violent outbursts of racial and "gang-banger " activity. Lots of screaming. I felt like I was back in jail. Every other day there was constant screaming and yelling, obnoxious loud music... Speaking of music, I was told I couldn't have my mp3 player because "it effects people in different ways and we don't want to trigger old behaviors or memories

I am extremely greatful for the experience and treatment i recieved at Desert Cove Recovery. All of the staff and therapists are extremely caring and knowledgeable. In particular Joe Ross. I entered this program utterly hopeless. After a lifetime of self loathing, drug and alcohol abuse, and pure misery; Desert cove and it's amazing staff performed a true miracle on me. Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that the likes of me could ever recover from the brutal wreckage of my sordid past. Yet against all odds through hard work, dedication, honesty, and pesreverance; I have truly found peace in life for the first time ever.
