At Altig Optical, we believe strongly in giving back to the community and caring for the eyes of all those in need. I love the Dr. here, staff is always wiling to help and send you to the correct location depending on your visit. When it comes to buying glasses Jack in the optometry department is an awesome asset. My son hates picking out glasses and he loves Jack’s input and interaction. Today we came and he was bummed he didn’t attend us. He said next time if we can ask for Jack.

It has been a few months since I last went to Altig. Im still angry at what happened during almost an entire year. Started when I arrived for my 1st appt. I opened the door and the young girl at the front desk yelled at me to be sure to wear a mask. I looked around me thinking she was yelling at someone else...but no she was yelling at me. Really...yelling at the clients? FYI- I had a mask on. I should have turned around and walked out right then. I cant tell you how many visits I had over the next year. Each time I had to explain what the previous doctor did because no one documented anything

I have seen Dr. Altig for over 3 decades, and He and His Staff have treated Me with the Best Care that I believe is possible. The aftercare I’ve received after recent cataract surgery touched My heart, when I developed a complication. Have been going here for at least 10 years. Had lasik surgery about 3 yrs ago and still go for overall eye health check ups. Dr. Altig is the best. He's very thorough and shares fun stories. It makes for a personable and enjoyable experience. I can't remember the name of the dr. or student Dr. who did some of my tests but she was great as well! I would be happy to have her as my Dr. when/if Dr. Altig retires.

Worst experience of my life that I had an eye doctor. The doctor insisted I choose between A and B when neither we're good. She even raised her voice when I told her neither were good.
I picked up the glasses and couldn't even see out of them. Fortunately I did not have to pay for the glasses and return them immediately.Never will I use them again.

I was seen quickly and everyone was very nice. I was recently married and put on my husbands insurance. There was an issue at first but the office spoke with the insurance company and handled it promptly. (A few days before the appointment). They also got back to me and let me know I was good to go within the day. The decor in the office is cool as well.

I've been going to Altig for years for my glasses and contact needs and they have been great. However, I am not here to write about my past experience but my most recent one. My 8 year old somehow embedded something in his eye and the care and treatment we received from Dr Reynolds and her tech Lea were absolutely exceptional. The entire experience was very traumatic for my son (and I) and they went above and beyond to correct the issue all while truly caring for the well being of my son during the process. I love this place! They are clean organized, beautifully decorated with a large helpful, friendly, courteous staff. They understand your vision plan coverage and even work well with Medicaid. They also honor warranties without any difficulty. They have high tech exam equipment and a very skilled doctor. I have been to many optometrists and and opticians and none were quite as pleasant and efficient as the Altig staff. I have no complaints about my experience with this office. They are my now my permanent eye care team.
