The Peppermint Tree Child Development Center is a state-certified, privately owned, non-sectarian, non-denominational center that offers a program developed for young, inquisitive minds. Our curriculum is structured but flexible with highly trained, creative teachers and assistants.

We provide a warm and nurturing home-like setting, filled with passionate, loyal, long-term teachers that truly become an extension of your family. We take a personal interest in each child, and in your family. Peppermint tree is a great place for your child to start school. The staff and feeling is so comforting and family like!
Each classroom is led by a certified teacher, experienced in developing and delivering a curriculum appropriate for the children in that classroom. We use the research-based The Creative Curriculum as our guide, which is the same curriculum that the Toms River School System has chosen for it's preschool initiatives.
We strive for a well-balanced curriculum in all areas developing the whole child, including the emotional, intellectual and physical aspects of development. We utilize The Creative Curriculum, the same published, research-based curriculum that is used by the Toms River School System, to assure that our students are prepared appropriately to continue on into elementary school.
Our facility includes on-site swimming pools for daily water fun, expansive grounds where we'll play ball games, have scavenger hunts, explore nature, paint on our outdoor easels, and create arts & crafts. All throughout the summer we offer special themes, such as the Carnival, Treasure Hunt and Messy Science Day to add fun to each day.
