After 14 years of being an independent hairstylist, Ryenna recently took ownership of Notch Salon Thornblade. She enjoys each guest that comes in and cherishes their smile as they leave. Ryenna specializes in blonde hair and transitioning to gray. Other specialties include Highlights, Baby-lights, Color Melting, Shadow Roots, Balayage, Ombre and Multi-Dimensional Color.
Michele grew up in Clemson, SC but has spent the last 28 years in Charleston as a professional cosmetologist. Excited to be ''back home'', she brings vast experience and knowledge. As a color specialist she loves to blend ''traditional'' and ''new'' techniques to create your personalized look. From balayage to highlights, color and cuts, Michele has a passion for creating top notch results, while providing excellent customer service.
Melissa was originally born and raised in Honduras. Received her education at the Academy of Hair Technology in Greenville, South Carolina. Specializing in haircuts, customized color, and foilyage. Foilyage is a technique that gets similar results as balayage but in almost half of the time. She loves building strong relationships with her clients and helping them express their personalities through their appearance.

Love this place! After seeing the same stylist for over a decade and moving to a new state, I was worried about finding a new stylist - But the ladies here are wonderful! They really go the extra mile, spending the time to style your hair and listen to your needs/wants. I love that they also take the time to educate you on your hair needs, your texture, which products would be good for at home care. I definitely recommend Notch!

Got a Beautiful short stylish cut. My stylist name was Michelle. She listened to everything I said and gave me suggestions which I welcomed. She must go to all the hair shows to be up on such a great cut. I definitely will be back. The owner was very friendly and the place was very clean.Grace

Wonderful. Amanda did a great job on my curly hair today. It was my first time at Notch Salon.
I have had difficulties the past couple of years finding a salon where they would define my curls.
I must say I was delighted with the way Amanda cut and styled my hair. I will definitely book my next haircut with Amanda.

I moved to Greenville about 6 years ago and changed hair stylists every time I needed a cut. I couldn't find a stylist/color artist that understood and could work with my thick curly black hair... until I came to Notch Salon. Ryenna has been my stylist for almost 2 years now and does an amazing job with my hair. They listen to what you want and make great recommendations if you want a change and need some ideas. Balyage, baby highlights... Ryenna is the color queen! Highly recommended!!

Lisa colored, cut & styled my hair today and I couldn't be happier. I feel like a new person! She was easy to talk to and gave me exactly what I wanted. Also, the salon itself has great business hours, is conveniently located off of Pehlam Rd., and has a cool modern Scandinavian feel. After a long search for a stylist, I finally found the perfect one! Thank you Lisa & Notch Salon!!
