To create an environment where all children feel safe to explore, experiment and experience God in the world around them, but more importantly, to know that they are God's precious creation and so very loved. It is our hope and prayer to love and guide the children in our care as they discover, that even at a young age, God has a plan for them.
Over the years we have expanded the WEE Learn Curriculum to accommodate the social, emotional and cognitive needs of our children according to Milestones of Childhood Development as well as the recommendations of Virginia's Foundation Blocks for Early Learing and standards set by Virginia Quality. Each classroom is designed to encourage and promote social interactions and learning through exploration and play.
All of Jackson's teachers and assistants are Christians who love children and have a commitment to teaching! Our staff assess and meet children where they are; they are skilled at guiding and helping children develop to their fullest potential. Our staff takes part in ongoing professional development through events with Chesapeake R U Ready, Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters, and webinars and in-house staff training.

Having just moved into the area with the military we had to find a preschool. I am so glad we decided to go with Jackson Memorial. It feels like my home away from home. The teachers are loving and very supportive. I enjoy seeing my 3 yr old start to adapt to a class room environment while still enjoying to learning and playing.
