Pleasant Christian School is a Preschool (3 years) to 8th grade private Christian school located in Chesapeake, VA in the Hampton Roads area. Our goal is to create an environment which will nurture the students' spiritual, academic, and social growth. This includes daily worship experiences and instruction in Bible.

Our curriculum uses standard textbooks taught in the light of Biblical truth. Our teachers are academically qualified and, even more importantly, dedicated to Christian service. Pleasant Christian School admits qualified students of any age, race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school.
Services
God, the Creator of the universe, exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Son, Jesus Christ, died, shedding His blood for our sins, and was raised again from the dead. Our sin separates us from God but we all can become His children through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. It is the policy of the Mt.
K-2 Primary Journal Creative Story Tablets by Mead, available at Walmart, Office Max, and on-line. One school box (7.75 x 2.9 x 11.25 size works the best) Taller boxes do not fit in their desks. Students should bring a filled water bottle each day to school so they do not have to use the water fountain.
The MPCS PTO is a small group of parent and teacher volunteers who help MPCS in many valuable ways. Our PTO funds the Accelerated Reader (AR) Program. We also run the Snack Bar (which helps to fund field trips), Teacher Appreciation, Book Fair, and more. The PTO also has fundraisers and events throughout the year to not only help raise money for our school but also to provide fellowship opportunities to the families that attend our school.
Students are to dress in a manner that is appropriate for a Christian school. Cleanliness, neatness, and modesty are the standards. Dress should not be a distraction to the learning atmosphere of the classroom. Mt. Pleasant Christian School reserves the right to make decisions on what is appropriate to wear and what isn't.
