We know how important it is to find childcare you really trust and a school that exceeds your expectations. Children can enjoy a home-cooked breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and evening snack on site. Full time tuition covers your child's care for any 5 days a week for up to 12 hours a day.
Services
The owners, Greg and Tammy Wildman, strive daily to promote a safe, happy environment for the children with teachers and staff that share the same philosophy. They share a vision for our child care center to be best in Houston. Since our humble beginning of 13 children, Mrs. Wildman and our staff have grown the school to nearly 600 children enrolled.
The caregivers at Oakdale Private School are among the most experienced in all of Houston. We understand that a childcare facility can only be as good as their staff. Each staff member possesses a current CPR and First Aid certification. Our staff is required to have a minimum of 30 hours of professional development training each year.
Oakdale Private School is a great place to work, as can be seen by the longevity of our staff. Our wages and benefit package is very competitive with centers in our community. We provide a very pleasant working environment. Our new building provides our staff with a bright, clean and happy work atmosphere.
Our Two-Year Old Program encourages children to develop knowledge of different shapes, color matching, counting skills, and memory recall. They are also encouraged to use self-help skills along with understanding obedience and responsibility. Our 3-Year Old Program emphasizes the development of the children's observational skills, decision-making skills, utilizing and developing problem solving ability, and the ability to reason.
Current up to date shot records must be turned in on the first day your child attends. Immunization records will be checked before your child can start. If your child is behind on any immunizations, they will not be allowed to stay; the immunizations will need to be updated for the child to begin attending.

My son has been at Oakdale Private School since he was three months old. He is now 14 months and 3 weeks. I have found another family within the staff at Oakdale. Each day when I drop him off the staff is very warming and welcoming to my son. They make me feel like they genuinely care about his development and well - being.
I am a single mother relatively new to Houston, and they have made our transition a little easier. Being in retail sales, I can run into some crazy hours. Oakdale allows me to work as hard as I can while knowing my son is getting quality care. I appreciate the school as well

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! CHOOSE ANOTHER DAY CARE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
The front staff is so rude, unprofessional, and lazy. I tried to give them a fair chance. They create a negative vibe at the door. They sit around and gossip all the time which is not comforting. I should feel comfortable dropping my child off but all I have felt is eyes looking me up and down instead of warm greetings. They discuss your business out loud by yelling it across the lobby area, instead of pulling you aside to address you and only you. They get cursed out all the time because of this. There have been several fights

I love Oakdale! Being a single mom it's hard to come across a school that has a flexible schedule and caring staff! The price is reasonable and they are fully open with their policy, menu, and curriculum. It's frustrating have a child who falls under the age limit for public school, but having a school like Oakdale has assured me she is still gaining the same skills and knowledge she would if she was in public school. I also love how she is learning bible based teaching. My child loves the Lord and has questions about God and all he does for us! She talks to Him like He is one of her friends which

My kids have been going to Oakdale for over two years. The teachers are great. I work 11.5 hours a day, six days a week, and my kids are fed breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They have also assisted in potty training. Anytime I have concerns, they are addressed and corrected. Overall, my experience is wonderful. Thanks Oakdale

I love Oakdale, the hours are great for me. In the past they were open 24 hours and working in dialysis this is hard to come by. When they changed their hours I was in panic concerned about my job. In a haste I felt I had to change schools and did and it was the worst experience, after 4 months I came back and wished I wouldn't have left. My son started at 15 months and he is now 3. I personally have not had any unprofessional experiences but I have seen many parents behaving in way unbecoming of a parent in the presence of children. I plan to keep my little one there through their 2nd grade program

MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS! My family and I were victims of the flooding disaster. The daycare was closed Monday and Tuesday. I had no way to go to daycare for the entire week. I asked if I could have my fees waived for this week due to the fact my daughter would not be attending at all this week because of my flooded out car. I WAS DENIED. The owner said what he could do was allow my child stay longer for no additional fees. I advised we have no transportation to get there for any hours all week. He said that was my own problem and his staff is suffering hours being lost due to the fact there are no
