Chef Mai has been cooking since high school when she started helping with her mother's taco truck in Austin. In her early 20s she moved to Atlanta where she attended culinary school while working under experienced Chefs at local Moroccan and French bistros. Ready for a change, Mai and her then boyfriend, now husband, moved to Seattle in 1998 to experience something new.
