Services
We are a family-owned and seasonal floral studio designing for weddings and events in the Pacific Northwest and anywhere we can take flowers. We keep music on at all times, celebrate anything with a good meal and binge anime whenever possible. We aren't your typical florists, but we do deliver when it comes to creating truly unique, inspired and intentional floral design.
Rather than create one size fits all packages, we work with you to create one of a kind floral designs. When we say custom, we mean it. We are a seasonal floral studio - we work with ingredients that are seasonally available to us without the use of imported flowers. This means that the majority of our designs using fresh flowers happen between April and October, with our focus being on foliage, texture and dried flowers from November to March.
Novella Theory Floral Co. offers sustainably designed dried flower decor, accessories and arrangements for your home, wedding or elopement. Please contact us here for custom orders or complete an inquiry for wedding or event orders. When we have something good to share, like the opening of our online shop or pop-up events, you will be the first to know.

We love it. We hate it. We want couples to think beyond the board. This can be scary. There are only so many hours in the day. What's a person to do when it comes to making the million and one decisions that it takes to plan a wedding? There are a number (a high number) of really beautiful portland wedding venues, but there are a special few that are more than just venues and have a powerful mission beyond weddings and events.

We were beyond thrilled with our wedding florals by Novella Theory. Christina created exactly what we had envisioned, but even better than we imagined. She really captured the bright, funky, retro vibe we were going for. Christina is so fun and easy to work with during the design process.
On our wedding day she took care of everything seamlessly, including setting up both our ceremony site and a separate reception venue. From the beautiful backdrop, to bouquets, to flower crowns, and even petals for our flower girls’ baskets, every detail was perfect.

Christina put together the most insanely beautiful bouquet, boutonnière, and center piece for my elopement this fall. The three arrangements were just stunningly beautiful and creative. Christina did a beyond amazing job with our florals, decorations, and wedding planning. We don't know what we would have done without her. She's probably one of the most patient people we've met, she's very organized, and she has an incredible eye for design.
