Cutting Edge Physical Therapy brings a fresh alternative to physical therapy with effective care that has proven to work. The therapists take a direct and personalized approach to treat patients on an individual basis. All therapists are highly skilled and extensively trained and display a caring, patient-first attitude. This helps our therapists focus on your specific needs, which allows you to meet your goals of returning to full function and activity.
Services
Be wary of physical therapy offices that provide only a passive type of therapy (using only hot/cold pack, massage, electrical stimulation and ultrasound). These treatments may feel good for a very short period afterwards, but they are not a cure to your problem. Be wary of physical therapists who do not teach you something new for your problem each appointment whether it be a new exercise or self-help tip.
This remarkable procedure allows us to detect and treat areas of "scar tissue" or adhesions in muscles, tendons and ligaments that can reduce our range of motion and cause pain. In time, we can have a build up of this fibrous scar tissue, particularly in the muscles, tendons and ligaments that get a lot of use.
The physical therapists at Cutting Edge Physical Therapy will create a customized treatment plan to address your diagnosis or condition. One method used is to prescribe exercises that will help you return to normal function and perform the activities you need to do throughout the day. The therapist will use their skill and knowledge to progress exercises as noted in the chart below.
Manual therapy involves direct one on one contact from the therapist by using one of several specific hands-on techniques to assist with decreased pain and increased function. Techniques used in the clinic include: the Graston Technique, myofascial release, soft-tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and kinesiotape.
At Cutting Edge Physical Therapy we use a variety of treatment modalities to assist with decreased pain and full recovery. These modalities will not cure your condition alone, but they may help with pain, relaxation, spasms and overall feeling better. These are tools in our toolbox. They should be used in conjunction with manual therapy, functional exercises, and patient education.

What a place to be. Cathy and her team are great and professional. I found Cutting Edge through nextdoor and I cannot say enough about them.. Previously, I was going to a different PT for about six months and I did not make any progress. When I met Cathy I realized there was hope and within a few visit, my pain and motor skills started improving.
I was able to move my shoulder and that was a relief. I wish I found this practice sooner than later. Thank you Cathy for your dedication.

Cathy and her staff are absolute pros and are the reason my recovery from surgery was so successful. I am literally back on my feet due to them and appreciated their collaborative approach to my care. I can't speak highly enough about their help and commitment to my recovery and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality experience in PT.

Cathy has worked on all three members of our family. My knee, my wife's shoulder, and my son's Achilles/foot and has been awesome in all instances. Her knowledge and personal attention to each one of us was appreciated and definitely make her our "go to" physical therapist. I'd definitely recommend her for any and all physical therapy.

I was training for a 70.3 Ironman and injured myself. I had a similar injury a couple years ago which kept me from exercising for about 8 weeks. The cutting edge team used a combination of exercises, stretching, lasers, Graston technique, and ultrasound to speed up my recovery. This time I was able to continue training (except running) after the first week and was able to get back to light running after about 3 weeks. I am back to training pain free and they have taught me several exercises and stretches that will hopefully continue to prevent this in the future.
Thank you so much Cathy and team

I went to the reviews for Cutting Edge while deciding which clinic to go to after knee replacement. The reviews were stellar, but not current. For that reason I am adding a review.
I work primarily with Jessi and Justin. They are both great at what they do. They have pushed me to a perfect ROM, well before I should be at the point I am. They watch everything to make sure exercises are done perfectly and they magically can tell when a patient has had "enough" and needs a breather. I claim this is 'magical' since who wants to admit they are too tired to continue?
Seriously - if you are looking
