We make our paella over our mobile wood fired grill at your party in Marin, Sonoma, Napa, San Francisco, etc. We can cook the best paella for you and your party whether you're celebrating a graduation, rehearsal dinner, wedding or just being alive.
Thomas has always loved to cook outdoors for large groups of people. Working as a river guide in Alaska, he honed his skills cooking over open fires in all types of weather. He started cooking paella about 10 years ago for friends and family on the beaches of Tomales Bay and over time Paella del Reyes was founded.

Services
With our mobile paella grill we can set up almost anywhere and feed from 40 to 600 guests. We do all of the prep work on site and bring everything we need to prepare the paella. All you need to do is provide the silverware and plates. It takes about 3 hours from start to finish (actual cooking time is approximately 2 hours).
At Paella del Reyes our ingredients are as important as our reputation. Based in Point Reyes, sustainable, quality ingredients are always readily available. We try to use all organic and local ingredients when possible. Our paellas start with extra virgin olive oil, air chilled chicken (from Mary's Chicken) and the best bilbao chorizo.

I have found the Marin County Parks staff to be exceptionally helpful and easy to work with. Both Paradise and McNears are on the water, can accommodate big groups and are very affordable. On the shores of Tomales Bay the "farm" offers a rustic setting surrounded by the inner workings of the Hog Island Oyster Company.

Paella Del Reyes was an AMAZING choice for our wedding at Cuffey's Cove. It's reasonably priced, easily accommodates food allergies and our guests LOVED it! We received so many compliments on the food. We got the mixto and vegan options, along with bread and salad, and it did not disappoint. Tom was also super easy to work with and a good communicator. We weren't able to try the food ahead of time, so it definitely felt like a risk, but we were incredibly happy with our decision in the end. I highly recommend Paella Del Reyes for a wedding or another big event.

Tom and his team catered our wedding up at Cuffeys Cove on the Mendocino coast. We were blown away by the paella - it was cooked perfectly, on time, and looked absolutely stunning. We ordered the Mixto and vegetarian option for our guests. I personally tried the Mixto and there was tons of seafood piled on. Everyone LOVED the food and we got so many compliments.

Tom just catered my husband's 50th birthday. I can't say enough good things. The food was incredible. Everyone raved about it. Beautiful and flavorful. Tom is so professional and easy to work with. He was great at getting back to me in a timely manner, showed up right on time and served right on time as well. A great experience all around. Highly recommend!

We love Paella del Reyes! They catered our Son's rehearsal dinner & cooked the Paella over a wood fire- so fun to watch the process & the Paella was DELISH! Everyone raved about it. The salad was wonderful & as was the cheese plate! Everything was perfect.

I would give Tom and his team more stars if I could. We had them make paella (both the traditional seafood and the vegetarian) for 50 people for my 40th birthday party, and it was absolutely fantastic! In addition to being an absolute hit with all our guests (everyone had seconds or thirds), it was just an awesome experience for everyone to see the meal being prepared at the beginning of the party. Tom and Meghan were awesome people, super willing to talk to people about the process if they were curious, and they were a really awesome addition to the party. Oh, and in addition to the two paellas

My husband brought Paella Del Reyes on board to celebrate my 50th birthday. Tom showed up several hours ahead of the party, set up his grill and got to work making an absolutely delicious and gorgeous, massive platter of Paella to feed our group of 50. Tom also brought several nicely presented charcuterie plates to keep us happy while the Paella was cooking. I highly recommend Paella Del Reyes for any party where you need to feed a large group. From start to finish, Tom was incredibly professional and a total delight to talk to. The Paella was an absolute home run...everybody was raving about it

Amazing Pealla!! We hired Pealla del Reyes for our 60 person rehearsal dinner (in the Griffo's distillery event space, which is also awesome) in Sept. 2018. The food was outstanding and our guests didn't stop raving about it. Tom and his associate were very friendly and easy to work with. Fwiw, I lived in Sevilla Spain during college and think this paella was as delicious as I remember from there! Highly recommend.

We had Tom and team cater a birthday party for approximately 40 people up in Healdsburg this past February. I wish I could give them them even higher marks (ten stars!) for their service, responsiveness, and most importantly, the incredible meal! Everything was perfect. They arrived on time and were friendly, organized and exceptionally professional throughout the afternoon. To give you an example of how awesome it was to work with Tom, we were forced to change location the night before the party from the beach to a much further spot due to the weather. I recently attended a party that Tom & his staff were cooking for and the Paella was amazing! It was fun to watch Tom cook the Paella over the open fire as the party was going on, it made for a really different and unique catering experience. I am now considering hiring them to cater my 40th birthday later this year because it was a lot of fun and the food was really delicious, especially the special sauce! Oh, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, Paella del Reyes was the highlight of my recent company retirement party. The local and sustainable ingredients were not only delicious and beautiful, they also pleased our vegans and gluten-free attendees - not an easy feat! The owner Tom was a dream to work with - quick to respond, worked with our nonprofit budget, and was onsite early to create a festive and delicious meal for 200 guests. It doesn't get any better than Paella del Reyes - I highly recommend!

I've used Paella del Reyes personally for 3 parties; my rehearsal dinner, my 50th birthday and a family reunion. I could not recommend them more highly. The atmosphere created when Tom and team fire up their massive paella pans is only outshined by the excellence of the food itself. Tom and his crew expertly catered our wedding at Toby's Feed Barn in Point Reyes Station. The paella was delicious -- our guests raved about it and almost everyone seemed to get seconds as well! The cheese and charcuterie plates were also fantastic.
Working with Paella del Reyes was easy and enjoyable throughout the process and paella made serving food at our wedding in a logistically challenging place (i.e. without a kitchen) simple and fun.

I have hired Paella Del Reyes for 4 consecutive years to cater my employee Holiday Party and I plan on hiring him again this year! Every year I like to switch it up and he works with me to tailor the Paella to my desire. In 2017, I added lobster tails to the seafood paella... we are all still craving more because it was to amazing. Perfect option for medium to large parties for sure! I personally think that offering the same food experience to guest helps bring people closer. But if you have special food allergies he has options for that as well!!

I contacted Tom with relatively late notice to see if he could feed our wedding reception guests in Calistoga. Our wedding caterer was capable of doing paella, but we wanted the romance of the big pans getting fired up outside. Tom got back to me quickly and make some adjustments to his schedule to accommodate our needs and work with our caterer to serve a beautiful and delicious dinner.
