I initially went to see Mark for a myriad of disruptive symptoms that led to my MD suggesting I go on medication for hypothyroidism. A combination of Mark's treatments, along with a plentiful supply of useful lifestyle information (from breathing techniques to dietary suggestions) has made me feel like I'm back in my real body again - without introducing any new medications!

Acupuncture has been shown to benefit mental health and address issues such as anxiety, stress and depression as well as pain from injuries and much more. Acupuncture literally means 'needle piercing, the practice of inserting very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomic points in the body (called acupoints) for therapeutic purposes.
Sustainable Health ~ eastern medicine for idiopathic or psychoneuroimmunologic health issues. Mark is a caring and tenacious practitioner of Chinese medicine and acupuncture. I have often thought that it would be great if some of the "western" doctors I have dealt with had the tenacity and drive to help that Mark has.
Eastern nutrition for PMS, painful periods, fertility, GI and other health issues - FUEL GOOD. Every new patient is consulted on the best choices they can make to improve their health through nutrition and address issues concerning PMS, painful periods and fertility. Chinese Medicine uses food as a dynamic partner to acupuncture and herbs to achieve long lasting clinical results.
There was a shack looking structure with four rooms on a ground floor made into an office, a class-room, sleep/study quarters and a small kitchen cramped in the area approximately 80 by 60 square feet. The wooden base triple bunk beds had rolled color mattresses and were taking half the common room.
By staying healthy as well as relieving issues such as back and neck pain without drugs and surgery, corporate clients gain the net benefit of improved attendance and productivity.

Research studies published in primary health care journals reveal that individuals who use "alternative and complementary" health modalities (including, acupuncture, yoga and massage) are generally healthier, better educated, take fewer medications and miss fewer days from work than the average American.

I went to see Mark for chronic hip pain, after multiple attempts to address it with physical therapy, chiropractors and orthopedists. On my first visit, Mark gave me relief. He also opened the door to much more comprehensive healing in all other aspects of my life. Through his astute observations and diagnoses, Mark identified and then helped heal issues with digestion, stress, and fear. He helped me find my own power and confidence to propel my professional life and personal relationships. He gave me incredible insights that have transformed my marriage, my relationship to my kids, my siblings

It is with deep gratitude that I write this testimonial for Mark Gutkin, whose insight, compassion, and wisdom, on top of his expert technical knowledge of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, started saving my life about six months ago, in May 2020. I was a wreck when I staggered into his office for the first time, barely making it up the three flights of stairs no longer required to reach his lovely new office. After months of pursuing every avenue that Standard Western Medicine had to offer – General Practitioners, Rheumatologists, Allergists, Pulmonologists, Ear-Nose-Throat specialists

Mark has made a huge impact on my quality of life.
I came to Mark with a variety of issues from back pain to anxiety, the list goes on. I felt helpless and didn’t know where else to turn, thankfully I found Mark.
Mark is patient, kind, attentive, caring. Every session he is fully invested in helping me get my body back on track. I had no previous experience with acupuncture and was very nervous for my first appointment but he put my anxiety at ease and has really helped me figure out what my body needs to feel better.
I have and will continue to highly recommend Mark’s practice.

Mark was incredibly helpful, professional and welcoming. I was experiencing awful migraines and one morning out of desperation I sent Mark an inquiry to see if he could take me same day -- he made the time to see me despite a visibly busy schedule. I would highly recommend Mark for anyone dealing with constant migraines or any form of pain.

I was truly at the end of my rope! For two years I suffered from burning mouth syndrome, which led to severe swallowing issues. I was eating nothing, drinking very little, and extremely depressed. After seeking help from several MDs who could find no clinical cause for my symptoms, a friend sold me on the idea of acupuncture. When I started my research, Mark’s website immediately caught my attention since he specializes in psychosomatic disorders. To say I am a “new person“ would be putting it mildly. Not only does Mark make me feel comfortable mentally, physically, and spiritually, he has

Mark is an excellent acupuncturist and health and nutrition advisor. After many months of physical therapy for my very painful back problems with little result, I decided to try acupuncture for the first time and turned to Mark. And that has made all the difference! After following his advice on nutrition and workouts along with his treatments, I am now practically pain free! Many days of no discomfort, I am able to drive and do work again.
Mark is a very capable and compassionate man. Make no mistake, if you follow his advice and treatments he WILL help you.
Thank you again, Mark, I feel like

Without a doubt..., Dr. Mark has been truly a blessing. I left the hospital on New Year's Eve with a cat scan, a bag of pain meds, and not a clue of what to do to stop the pain. For the last several weeks I look forward to twice a week treatments of acupuncture and counseling...some of his recommendations I have heard from my mom...sit up straight, don't eat that and exercise. But the difference is...after every treatment, I feel relief, improvement, hope and appreciation. God bless you Dr. Mark.

I first went to see Mark in September 2015. I was there to discuss several issues like stress, lack of energy, and overall health. I have never been to Acupuncture before so was nervous about the process. Mark was very comforting and informative each step of the way. He is completely flexible with schedules and has two locations. I would recommend him to anyone that is curious about Acupuncture or has some issues that they think Mark can help with. I definitely feel a difference.
