Laughery Valley Veterinary Hospital provides quality veterinary care for dogs and cats in Dillsboro, Indiana, and the surrounding communities. Our modern and inviting hospital boasts superb veterinarians and a caring support staff that is dedicated to our patients, clients, and community. These resistant hookworm species have spilled over to the pet dog population.
This is a public health concern because hookworms can infect people through skin contact, causing a condition known as cutaneous larval migrans. This 20th Century hookworm mutating into a 21st Century drug-resistant hookworm can become a big problem because of dog parks, boarding kennels, and other places where dogs congregate.

We had a very sick pet and it was New years eve and our regular vet couldn't fit us in. we called Laughery Valley and they got us in immediately. The staff was caring and professional, we couldn't have asked for more . Much thanks to the whole staff for taking care of our precious pet.

I loved my visit. They were able to get my new kitten in last minute to check her over for some respiratory issues and they took great care of her and explained everything very well to me. They also gave me some great recommendations for her and my other kitties. We’ve just recently moved to the area and I was nervous about visiting a new clinic, but I’ve definitely found my new vet!

My 2 yr old fur baby Stella started acting odd- didn't want to play, barely ate or drank anything- so I watched her to see if she improved or got worse.I caged her over night just to be safe and by next morning she couldn't even stand to get out of her cage to potty. This really made me nervous. With everything going on from COVID-19 not a lot of… places are open, couldn't see her for another day or are by appt only. Luckily, I got the answer I was looking for here!! I'm so happy they made space to see her immediately and was able to determine what was wrong and get her the help she most

Just had a wonderful experience at Laughrey Valley Veterinary Hospital. My kitty got his butt kicked by a tom cat and has quite the bight on his back. They could get him in ASAP. Even with The Rona. They took… him in, looked at him, treated him, and the vet called me with all the info. They were all so friendly and took good care of my poor boy. Highly recommend, if you don't mind a quick drive toward Versailles.

Took our dog for his shots today. Since he came home he has been lethargic which is sooo not normal for him. Then vomited all his dinner up. Repeatedly called Dr Robertson who is on call.... I mean lots of calls bc concerned about our dog!! Not one call back at all. PLEASE don’t take your dog here!!
