Donald C. Morris had a vision that he would own and operate a funeral home that would served the community in a relaxed and caring manner. In 1952, he purchased the property at 40 Main Street (Route 30) in Southborough, and opened the doors of the Morris Funeral Home to the community. Today, over 65 years later, his vision is still alive, and the commitment to excellent service still remains.

There are many details and decisions associated with a funeral and unfortunately, they come at a time when people are least able to think clearly. Many people today recognize that planning a funeral in advance provides peace of mind and demonstrates love and consideration for their family. When pre-planning a funeral, you are able to choose exactly the type of service you would like.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
