Thank you for visiting my estate planning legal service website. Whether you are just browsing or seeking necessary information for you and your family's needs, I hope to assist you and your family in the near future. My mom/dad wants me to be her/his executor for her/his estate, what are my responsibilities?.

We have young children and want to know what will happen to them if something tragic happens to us?. I am a single parent and I want to ensure that my assets are passed down to my children only, what do I need to do?. My savings are diminishing; nursing home or care home is too expensive, I won't be able to leave anything for my children, what can I do?.
Services
Since 1992, I have helped many senior citizens with their elder law issues and have guided families with the appropriate estate plan through various stages in life. My law practice is limited to and focuses on Estate Planning for your specific real property and financial needs. Estate Planning is the process of accumulating and disposing of an estate to avoid probate together with other legal aspects interwoven into the plan.
A Living Trust is created during your lifetime and is funded with most or all of your assets by simply re-titling the assets to yourself as trustee. In other words, the individual who creates the trust (the grantor) is usually also the initial trustee who will retain control of all of the trust assets until his/her death.
With revocable or irrevocable trust, upon the grantor's death, the trustee follows the terms of the trust and distributes the trust assets to the trust beneficiaries. That is the Trust settlement process. It appears simple, however, if you are the trustee faced with the task, you may not know where to begin and what to.
When you need to consult with a probate attorney, it's probably because an immediate family member, relative, or someone who was close to you has died. It is not easy to find an attorney during a time of sadness, but it still has to be done. Uncontested Probate: Probate cases where the interested parties are in agreement with the distribution of the deceased person's assets.
A will is a written document that directs how you want your property distributes after your death. In your will, you appoint a trusted person to be your executor. Your executor or personal representative, through probate court supervision, is responsible for distributing your property according to the instructions you place in your will.

Attorney, George Nam, & his staff were very nice & professional. He helped us decide if creating a will and/or trust were necessary for my mom because my dad passed away a few months ago. Thank you very much!

I don't deal with lawyers much, but I highly recommend George Nam. I met him to have some legal work done, and he was very helpful and informative.

George Nam is so down to earth and a terrific attorney. I found him on Yelp, believe it or not. Thanks to all them Yelpers that shared their experience with George, made my choice easier to pick him. Boy was I not disappointed!! Trust me when I say this. I am all about customer service. If you read my reviews, I M not afraid to give a bad review if it is deserved, but I am also so willing to give a great review if it is deserved. Very rude and unwilling to handle my quit-claim filing. I'll find a more reputable and capable attorney.

Very pleasant person. He went out of his way to answer questions we had even though he couldn't help with our case. He also recommend a lawyer and gave great advice.

Was referred by friend of a friend and he returned my call quickly, listened carefully, and provided very helpful insight into my situation. I don't need an attorney often, but when I did, George Nam was there for me.

Let me start by saying I came to George regarding a probate matter outside what he does, yet he was still prompt in his response and helped point me in the right direction.

Again, I am not a client with George, yet he still provided great service, nonetheless . If I should need real estate probate service, I know who to contact.

George had helped my grandmother make modifications to her will, trust, and power of attorney some years ago. When she passed late last year, I went to see George again about handling the transfer of property in her trust.

George is a very easy going person to work with and made the sensitive nature of property transfer and the event of my grandmother's passing a much easier ordeal than I was prepared for. He answered any questions I had about the process and went above and beyond to put me at ease about other concerns. Dealing with George was more like sitting down and talking to a trusted

I contacted George Nam to assist me in setting up my Trust. He returned my call within an hour of my request. He sounded just as he does on the commercial on TV.

We set up an appointment within the week and sat down with him for the free consultation. He was very easy to talk to and seemed to understand what we wanted to accomplish. he was instrumental in speaking about situations that could occur and how we can resolve any future conflicts that may arise. After that meeting we gave the go ahead and scheduled a follow up meeting.

After smoothing out more details on all the documents, we did

I contacted George for a free consult to discuss setting up a Trust, Will, Medical Authorization and Estate Planning. He scheduled an appointment for me that same week.

We met and he walked me through all the terminology, processes and purposes for the various legal documents mentioned above and what those docs would accomplish for me. He also explained to me the time it would take to process the docs I wanted.

In a few short weeks, he had my docs prepared and ready to process.

I am very happy and completely satisfied with George's knowledge, professionalism and effeciency.

We have used George for about 10 years and he's a real down to earth guy as well as a great attorney. He actually cares and comes up with solutions even when a situation requires extra effort and creative thinking to make it work well for everyone concerned. He was raised in Hawaii, and knows the ropes there. He helped us with a difficult real estate case and relieved us of what was a huge burden for us but a workable situation for someone else. The outcome was win-win for both. We would use him again in a minute. He specializes in estate planning and financial planning, probate and trust
