I enjoy how the selection of food here is quite a bit different than most places in town. The whitefish is always good. Calamari is delicious! I hope the lobster comes back soon. They've been out for a year, and I've been really wanting the lobster Mac. It sounds so good, and I've never had it! Thanks for a great experience every time. Also, the patio is always great!

This restaurant is a gem! Perfect views of the water and Blue Water Bridge and the food is topnotch! My husband and I frequently drive the hour to eat here. The menu is definitely quality over quantity which I appreciated. We've tried just about everything on it and everything has been delicious. You can tell a lot of thought was put into creating the recipes. Highly recommend the Mesa chicken wrap, fish taco, and mac & cheese. You won't be disappointed!

This was our first time going to freighters and I'm going to be honest I'm not sure I would bother going back. The menu was extremely limited and there was nothing on the menu that I saw that would have been considered a signature dish. I had the steak and it was so so nothing special. There was nothing about the experience at freighters that would make me want to spend my money there again. The atmosphere is fine and the service was good so there's nothing to complain about there. I guess all I can say is it wasn't what I had expected. I expected a wow factor that didn't happen

Only gave it 5 stars because I can't select more. This place is outstanding. The Zipp Chicken was great. I never had it before and now I have to try making it at home. The atmosphere was also great, we were placed along the windows overlooking the river and Canada. Yes, we saw a number of freighters making their way up and down the river. It's also a great venue for groups or parties.

Great service and pretty darn good food. Their dinner was very good minus their burgers. They were just frozen patties it seemed. Wings were great! And their breakfast was well priced but not the best taste. You cannot beat the view of the river though! Service was excellent and the people were very friendly.

What a great way to rest between rock hunting and fishing by having a refreshing meal at Freighters. This restaurant is comfortable, allows plenty of space between tables and offers an abundance of cuisine for every palate. Although I only had water, their bar selection had various beers on tap, as well as the normal wine and mixed drink selection. I had the Lumberjack Burger with smoked bacon and onion straws. It was pretty darn good! My wife selected the delicious Freighters house salad which was more than plentiful. Our friend's son ordered the Beer Battered Chicken Strips. It came with 4 gargantuan

A MUST if visiting Port Huron. The restaurant itself is breathtakingly beautiful, absolutely love the look and the art displayed. The employees there are kind, quick, and caring. The views are priceless l, you can watch freighters pass by directly below the Blue Water Bridge as well as other beautiful boats. I highly suggest the Pulled Pork Nachos & the Diablo Burger.
