The Early Learning Center's open-ended preschool program prepares children to use their intellect and creative abilities in all future learning tasks. We offer children an environment in which to develop their physical, social, intellectual, and emotional well-being in a playful, social environment designed for interactive learning.

Children are eligible for enrollment without regard to race, sex, religion, or ethnic background. Kiss-N-Ride is a convenience offered to parents and children in our 3-5 year old programs. Parents or caregivers can drive up to the back door of the preschool and ELC staff will oversee the arrival of your child into the classroom.
Services
The Early Learning Center (ELC) is a valued ministry of Manassas Presbyterian Church (MPC). In our programs, each child is viewed as an individual person with needs that are unique to him/her. We strive to recognize and meet the needs of each child. We will work to provide experiences that will enrich and enhance each child's cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development.
The Early Learning Center is a valued ministry of Manassas Presbyterian Church. Our preschool has been providing early childhood education to the local community since 1964 and is welcoming to all, regardless of background. We strive to recognize and meet the needs of each individual child. It is our hope to instill a joy of learning and curiosity in each child, through the process of exploration, trial and error, and the excitement of success.
Our teachers and staff are dedicated to providing your child a fun and enjoyable quality classroom experience. ELC parents have consistently identified the faculty as the number one reason for choosing and staying at MPC Early Learning Center. We maintain a student-teacher ratio 8:1 in our program, except for our Parents Morning Out where we maintain a student- teacher ratio of 4:1.
Our Parents' Morning Out program provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for your little ones. The teachers use age-appropriate toys, stories, and crafts. Your child does not need to be potty trained to attend this class. Social skills including sharing, cooperative play, and respecting one another are emphasized.
Our Preschool program provides a transition for your child from family-centered activities to structured activities involving other children and adults. Our teachers are sensitive to the needs of young children who are separating from their parents for the first time. They participate in "Circle Time" each day where they may play games, sing a song, dance, count, share with their friends, and/or listen to a story.

My children have been students at ELC for three years now (toddlers through Pre-K) and I cannot be happier. The teachers have genuinely loved my children like their own, always making them feel safe and welcome. The office staff works so hard to accommodate any needs families may have in order to assist their child. We love this play based preschool dearly. Thank you to all who make MPC-ELC so special. There’s nowhere quite like it!

All four of my children have attended preschool at MPC-ELC throughout the past few years. As a parent, I feel that the Early Learning Center has given my children such a wonderful foundation for learning. My kiddos came to school happy and ready to learn through imaginative play, hands-on activities, and learning groups lead by loving, experienced teachers. I always felt comfortable dropping my children off for morning preschool, and my children always felt safe, respected, and loved in their classrooms with their peers. I highly recommend MPC-ELC for any preschooler!
