I grew up in the Beaverton area and attended Clackamas Community College where I completed a two-year program on Automotive Service Technology, learning the fine points of engine work and how to remove and reassemble mechanical components. After graduating, I worked as a wildland firefighter, and later, as a satellite installer, giving me valuable experience as a home servicer working directly with customers.

My door broke a spring. John was prompt, professional, and competent. I had called Dave's and left a message but they didn't get back to me (even now, after 2 days). John showed up quickly, verified what part was needed, then left to pick up the part. After returning with the part, he quickly replaced the broken one and lubricated everything, even my other garage door. I highly recommend John's for garage door repair.

I called John in the early afternoon and asked if he could stop by and take a look at my garage door that had been disconnected from a bracket that held the automatic opener to the door. I sent him a couple of pictures and he agreed to stop by after work to take a look. He showed up a few hours later, bracket in hand, and replaced it on the spot. He also realign the rollers and gave the hinges a good servicing. I thought I would have to make an appointment for a later time and was thrilled he could take care of the problem right away! The door works better than ever. If your garage door gets busted

This is the second time John has performed work for us. The first was installing the garage door and the second was replacing the opener. Both times he called back the same day. I normally wouldn't write a review for service person who didn't work for me. However John came for quote on garage door open replacement. He doesn't install the type (wall mount /jacksqrew) I was looking for . Regardless he was informative, professional, easy to work with and provided me list of other highly rated installers to contact. Appreciated his time and helpfulness despite the fact he wasn't getting a job out of working with me. Note- I had contacted him based on all the on line high ratings and reviews .

I called John last week with garage door opener issues last week and he was able to come by first thing the next morning. John was professional, polite and even pointed out a few things that could be instantly altered to make the door work better. I felt that the price was quite fair and would highly recommend him.
