Eddie Smith, DDS
Dr. Eddie Smith graduated from the OU College of Dentistry in Norman, Oklahoma, in 1993. He's been practicing in Tulsa ever since - for over 25 years! Dr. Smith believes the best teeth are natural teeth, and makes every effort to help you keep them healthy through preventive and conservative dentistry.

When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and serving in his church, where he currently teaches a Bible study class. Our hygienists, Patricia Myers and Margaret Young, both graduated in 1999 and have been with Dr. Smith throughout their careers. Their gentle touch and meticulous care are two of their many qualities!
Services
Prevention and early detection are the key to avoiding tooth decay and gum disease. A good home regimen, in addition to regular cleanings and exams, can prevent many expensive dental treatments. Prevention starts with controlling plaque, a colorless bacteria that sticks to the surface of your teeth, and calculus, a harder mineral deposit.
Most of the dentistry Dr. Smith performs involves the elimination, replacement, and/or restoration of unhealthy tooth structure that causes pain, gum irritation, bacteria, food traps, infection and eating discomfort. When necessary, he will refer our patients to expert specialists who have similar attitudes about the way they treat patients for faster and more specific care.
Almost everyone will experience tooth decay at some point in his or her life. Swift detection and correction of tooth decay can minimize the significant expenses and inconveniences associated with more serious problems caused by tooth decay. Restorative dentistry treats all phases of tooth decay, from simple cavity fillings to entire tooth replacements.
Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and serve as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture.
Wisdom teeth are the molars that are farthest back in the mouth. These teeth are the last to grow into the mouth, usually after age 18. Wisdom teeth often become impacted - they do not grow in properly. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause a myriad of problems, including gum disease, infection, decay, even tumors.

I've been going to Dr. Smith since I was a child, literally since I could remember. Mrs. Patricia is my hygienist, and is always the sweetest! They take their time and do a very thorough job. If you are looking for a dentist, please look no further!!!!!

Dr. Eddie Smith is Awesome! I am someone who has always been terrified of going to the dentist. I needed a lot of work done on my teeth as a result of my avoidance and neglect. Dr. Smith made me feel very comfortable. The work that I have had done so far has been pain free and I am very grateful for my restored smile (something I used to be embarrassed and ashamed of).

As a person that is terrified of dentists, this office has been so great with me. They've been patient and kind. I chipped a tooth and came in for a clean and repair and they were slow and patient and talked me through everything. It made my anxiety rest and it was great enough that I'll be back in 6 months!!!

Top notch Dentist - Reliable - Great person - Clean - Careful
I've been going to Eddie Smith for the past 4 or 5 years, he has always been extremely professional and kind to me. I know several people that trust him with their chompers and he has yet to let any of us down.
Recently I've been having tooth pain and he got me in to see him extra quick and recommended a root canal, he tried everything to make sure that was the correct direction for my tooth and recommended me to the experts. I am just blown away with the care that he's always given me and am really thankful to have found one of the

I have been to my share of dentists in the Tulsa area over the last 11 years I have lived here. I can honestly say these folks here are top notch. Not like one of the "chain" dentist places all over town I have been seen by before. Very refreshing. The staff from Misty at the front all the way through Patty (separate 5 stars for Patty!) and Eddie Smith were awesome. No Up selling and just honest. Definitely recommend. I finally found a dentist I actually like!!! Jim Mikula Tulsa
