I finally have a road map! I've been dealing with chronic pain for fifteen months. After one session of Kiiko Matsumoto at Eastern School of Acupuncture, I was blown away by the results. I can walk without limping! It's a work in progress, but I know that I'm in the right place. The students and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Parking is available (assigned spots) or street/meter parking. They are wheelchair accessible and the building has an elevator as well. Due to Covid, please wear your mask.

Great school to learn Acupuncture. I have been to three different schools, and this school was the best. The professors are nice, willing to teach you & friendly. Highly recommend it to somebody who wants to be a healer! Appreciate Shiaomei who showed me how to love patients, Christine who guided us to Japanese style, Kouo who leads all the students amazingly, and all the best school staff!

I like coming here because it is very affordable and convenient!
The interns are very friendly and professional. I was having a lot of ear pain recently and came in for a visit. The next day the pain was so much better! It is almost gone now after 2 days!
I would certainly recommend coming here if you are new to acupuncture.
It is a little bit on the medical side so not as comforting an environment as traditional acupuncturists might be. The sessions are also shorter than normal. They leave you for about 15 minutes to rest, which is fine and definitely works. Just not as long as I am used to at

I just had my first treatment at the clinic and had such a great experience with Christine, the clinic supervisor. She took careful time to go through my concerns and issues. She addressed the chief complaint right away but also made sure to listen carefully and address some secondary issues. I walked out of their floating with my back feeling at least 75% better than when I walked in. She also addressed some on-going acid reflux that still a few days after has not come back.
I suggest checking out the Eastern School Clinic for a treatment!

I hobbled in, with severe pain - sciatic nerve. I strode out pain free. I go weekly and address various issues I previously thought hopeless. A better life for a few dollars. Professional, affordable, effective. If you think acupuncture might help, start here.
Convenient hours, excellent staff, range of techniques. No excuse to put it off.

Exceeded my expectations. I walked in with pain that I've been dealing with for over 10 years in my shoulders and neck as well as my low back radiating into my leg. I've tried PT, sports medicine docs, chiro and also acupuncture in the past but nothing has provided relief so I wasn't expecting too much here. Boy was I wrong! The staff was incredibly caring, knowledgable, patient, and you can feel their sincerity in wanting to help you feel better. I walked out after my session feeling like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, my low back doesn't hurt, and I also feel better emotionally

I've looked for a affordable ( 45.$ first / 35$ for return visits) yet effective acupuncture person forever. Today I found it ....suffering from muscle overexertion w inflammation ( tendinitis ) I was not healing. Yvon my soon to graduate acupuncturist carefully reviewed my case. She melted away my muscle tension and eased the over reactive tone of the nervous system. I was also treated for a numbness due to concussion which also had result....less tension resulting in less numbness, better vision . I do plan to see her at least another 5 visit for lasting results.
Look forward with hope

INTERN CLINIC REVIEW:
Recently, I've been going to the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine's intern clinic with my boyfriend, who was referred to go here by his orthopedist. We've been going here for a few weeks now.
Located in Bloomfield, the clinic is on Franklin Street. It's easy to get here from the Garden State Parkway. It may be tricky to find the building the first time you go there. It is located in the same building as the Provident Bank. While there is a parking lot, it's private and you can't park there or else your car will be towed

Been a repeat offender for years now. This place has helped me with so many ailments, chronic and infrequent. I still can't believe how so few people still don't know about this. What a great value! You can go regularly to help with big and small things! Kind people and professionals work here. Try both the Chinese and Japanese styles. Thank you all that have ever treated me!

I had my first few acupuncture experiences here and loved it. Friendly, professional staff- from the acupuncturist to the receptionist. Prior to coming in, the receptionist provided me with information on how to prepare for my first visit (wear loose clothing, eat a light meal an hour before coming in, etc). They really made an effort to make you feel very comfortable here.
Some other minor details that may be informative:
-Each session I had lasted around 45 minutes to an hour.
-They do not accept health insurance but the sessions are affordable.
-Credit card payments are accepted.

Someone suggested I go here for treatment.
Staff is super friendly and efficient.
Nico worked on me along with Tomasina. They were both fantastic.
Treatment in total took 3 hours.
Back pain was gone almost instantly.
FYI, the building they are in is fantastic... small blurb about the "Madison Building"
