St. Lawrence School is a Catholic elementary school for Pre-School through 5th grade students located in the Greece area of Rochester, NY. Our primary mission is to nurture faith, hope, and love in each child's heart, soul, and mind. Through spiritual growth, academic excellence, and service to others, parents and teachers become co-creators in revealing the face of Christ in every child.
At St. Lawrence School, we create a welcoming environment where we strive to treat others with kindness and respect, following in the teachings of Jesus. We are constantly reminded that there are many people in our world who are not as fortunate as we are, and we work to find ways to share our talents with others through acts of service for those in need.

My name is Brie Lawrence and I'm so excited to join the St. Lawrence family this year. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2013 with a degree in Childhood Education 1-6, and English. I completed my masters in 2017 with a degree in Curriculum Development and Instructional Leadership with a focus on Common Core Standards.
At St. Lawrence, students are provided with a strong instructional program centered on spiritual growth, academic excellence, and service to others. Our dedicated faculty and staff inspire our young men and women to achieve their highest academic potential and live a life rooted in the teachings of Jesus.
Because St. Lawrence is a Catholic school, a special dimension enhances the academic curriculum. The child is seen as a person whose integrity rests upon the fulfillment of his or her potential as a child of God. Great care is taken to provide growth in Christian beliefs, values and attitudes throughout the school curriculum on a daily basis.
We are pleased to have Junior Achievement as part of each child's education at St. Lawrence School. It is presented in grades K through 6 in either the fall or spring by consultants trained by Junior Achievement. Students learn the relevance of education to the work place through sequential business and economic themes.
St. Lawrence School offers a safe, supervised, active After School Care (ASC) program for students in grades PreK-5. Please note that After School Care for preschool is part of the wrap around program. Preschool students must be enrolled in the wrap around program to participate in After School Care.

I can not say enough wonderful things about St. Lawrence School. My 2 children have been here since Preschool, and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Not only are they receiving a top notch education, they are surrounded by wonderful families. I love it so much that I started working here!

St. Lawrence is a wonderful and loving community to raise your children in. We have chosen to enroll our four children into St. Lawrence because they do not just receive an academic education. They are encouraged by staff to grow emotionally and spiritually in a safe and welcoming environment. We highly recommend the school!

I feel, as I know my parents did, that a Catholic school eduction is so much more than straight A's. It goes beyond the excellent academic rigor, smaller classroom settings, discipline and uniforms.
A Catholic education fosters good morals and values that we want for our three daughters. We want them to be proud of their Catholic Religion, to turn to God for help when they need it; and to think of Him when making a decision or choice. We want them to learn about God not only at home and church, but in school as well.
Being Catholic and attending a Catholic School is something so special and something
