The Montessori Nido Community is a calm, cozy, home-like environment for babies ages 6 weeks through 18 months. Maria Montessori used this word to describe the infant classroom, within which little people feel cared for, loved and safe to explore and grow!
A Montessori environment can be considered an adaptive continuum between two basic needs of the developing infant: the bonded relationship between the adult and child on one end, and support for a growing sense of self and independence on the other. When infants are supported through a deep trust for their caregivers, they feel safe to begin exploring their own independence.

I am so thankful to Greece Montessori for all they have taught my kids academically and socially. Every day I notice their desire to help, ability to focus for long times, understanding of and curiosity for the world around them increasing and I know that a big part of that is from their time at Montessori.

Greece Montessori and its incredible staff have played an integral part in the growth and development of my child. Although he has graduated, I am the one struggling to adjust to a new school. I could not have found a better fit when he was struggling the most during his early development. Fantastic teachers, incredible sources of kindness and encouragement when he needed it the most. I encourage everyone to explore the benefits of a Montessori education.

This school is absolutely amazing. Two of our children currently attend. The staff is outstanding and are truly dedicated to teaching and nurturing children, not just the Montessori method. Our son and daughter have grown independent, confident and articulate as a direct result of attending Greece Montessori.

I could not be happier with the decision to send my two children to Greece Montessori school. Both of my children began in the toddler community. It was amazing to watch them develop such confidence and independence. You could see the pride in their little 18 month old eyes as they mastered such everyday tasks as putting on their jacket and boots, to things like peeling and cutting a banana, to knowing the continents of the world. It was just as inspiring to watch them continue to grow and learn in the primary classroom, where the were modeling and teaching the younger classmates, discovering math
