Back Pain is a condition that plagues many people of all ages. It can be related to a specific injury or degenerative changes in the spine that occur as we age. Having professional guidance can make the difference in a person's outcome. Treatment requires a individualized approach that focuses on correcting impairments that led to the injury.
Ankle and foot injuries are among the more common orthopedic injuries. Ankle sprains occur frequently in youth and adolescent sports. This can result in impairments in future situations of physical activity due to inadequate stability and proprioception. Other conditions such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis occur more often as we age and can be managed very effectively with physical therapy.
The hip joint is susceptible to both injury and joint degeneration over time. The supporting musculature must be strong enough to stabilize and protect the hip joint due to the increased range of motion. When this is not the case we are more likely to experience a hip joint injury premature arthritis.

The undivided attention I received in my therapy after a total knee replacement lead to a very successful outcome. The professionalism and kindness are beyond words. Michael was patient and encouraging every step of the way. He and Megan treat you how you want to be treated in a therapeutic setting. I highly recommend High Desert Physical Therapy!
