Johnson Physical Therapy has been serving Southwest Colorado and surrounding communities since 2002. We are a privately owned outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic. Owners Najib Johnson PT MTC and Julie Carpenter OTR both have over 25 years of experience. We have worked directly with the physicians, surgeons and other health care providers in our area since 1996.

Do you suffer from chronic pain that just doesn't seem to go away? What about pain that comes in waves, like the kind you feel in your shoulders during your last hour of work? Have you experienced an injury, surgical procedure, or another physical setback that's keeping you from living your best quality of life?
As a practice committed to helping patients be pain-free, we are always accepting resumes from those therapy and administrative staff who pride themselves on accepting new challenges and who have a strong desire to help others. We only accept staff into our practice who have the drive, passion, and enthusiasm for helping the patients we serve.
I have been going to Najib for several years for my therapy following knee and back surgeries. He is very caring, knowledgeable and supportive. His treatments and exercise programs have helped me become a success story and I have returned to all of my activities. I came to Johnson Physical Therapy for help after a back injury that resulted in nerve damage.
Neck pain can be a very debilitating experience, especially if the pain stretches from your neck down into your shoulders. It can prevent you from being able to sit up straight in a chair at work or school, and it can even prevent you from performing everyday tasks around the house. About a third of the population will experience neck pain in any given year, according to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA.)
I came to Johnson Physical Therapy following a total shoulder replacement surgery. Thanks to the knowledge and care I have been receiving from the staff at Johnson PT, I am well on my way to my goal and even "ahead of the curve". Does a simple move to place a jar on a high shelf seem impossible because of shoulder pain?

I have been extremely happy with the care I have received. They are always courteous and professional. I have received treatments to recover from a stroke and totally recovered. I am now receiving treatments for a shoulder replacement. I continue to gain strength through their work with me. I highly recommend Johnson Physical Therapy.

Landon has been so helpful in helping me to literally GET BACK ON MY FEET! The staff at Johnson Physical therapy are always eager to help and are friendly through the entire process whether it be the front desk or the therapists in the back. The owner is usually present while I'm receiving services, working on other patients, and will always assure you're getting the most excellent care. The staff care about seeing you succeed and take a little of your life back. They offer a variety of services so if you're having issues, come on down, you won't regret it! :)
