Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital
This is the veterinary hospital of Dr. Wendy Rosenbek and Dr. Catherine Rice, Located in Ardmore, Tennessee. We're here for you. We will still request that clients call when they arrive for their appts, so we can escort people and pets to exam rooms to reduce congestion in the lobby. For anyone who prefers not to come inside, "curbside" service will still be offered, as will drop-off options.

Our goal is to continue to keep everyone as safe as possible, so we encourage unvaccinated clients to wear masks while inside the building. Please let us know if you are most comfortable if the staff stays masked while in the exam room with you, as well. This service is available 24/7, which makes communication with us convenient, quick, and easy.
Services
To provide high quality, ethical medical care for our patients with compassion and respect for them and their human families. To educate our clients about the needs of their pets, both in sickness and in the promotion of wellness. To provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for our employees and our clients.
We provide a complete array of services to keep your pet healthy and happy. Our wellness plans are designed to prevent disease and prolong the lives of your companion animals. We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. Early diagnosis of illness can lead your pet to a longer, healthier life.

Since our pets age quicker than us, regular exams are important to allow your veterinarian to evaluate your pet's overall health and become aware of any problems before they become serious illnesses. Our wellness plans include a comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter services; and specialized blood tests for all stages of life.
Dr. Wendy Rosenbek is originally from Boulder, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1984 and earned her veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, graduating in 1987. After working two years in Knoxville, she returned to her home state to practice until 1995, when her friend and classmate, Dr. Angela Aymett of Pulaski, invited her back to Tennessee.
Our goal at Ardmore Companion Animal Hospital is to give your pet the highest quality care at all times. Our veterinarians see the importance of a thorough evaluation of your pet's overall health status prior to any surgical procedure. In addition to an exam, pre-anesthetic bloodwork is always recommended before any surgical procedures (including spays and neuters) in order to help our veterinarians assess your pet's health status.
My pets have been patients here for 3 years and the staff and vets go above and beyond in the care and compassion they show each pet and their pet person. They treated my Chester and me with love and dignity when he passed last year and yesterday and today showed great caring and patience when dealing with my over-stressed Patsy puggle during her nail trim.

I had to put my dog to sleep.
The experience was mixed .
They gave him oxygen while putting him down . It Just didn't make sense.
None the less ,
...I didn't like that it cost me double because they upsold me on possibly saving him .
None the less .
The place is clean and professional.

I cannot explain in enough words how great this place is! We had a sick puppy and needed someone ASAP. One location in Fayetteville told us they could not help us, another one said it was out of their scope of services. We had another vet in Hazel Green that told us to wait 2 hours outside before they could see us. We ended up calling this location and they told us to come ASAP. They were so compassionate and understanding. Dr Wendy and her staff was amazing.

Dr. Rice is a great communicator, always a pleasure to listen to smart people that know our fur babies. My recent experience was challenging one, but Dr. Rice spent multiple times of her valuable time with me by phone. I learned alot. The overwhelming part of her team gave perfect service up and right to the end when one member of the staff crossed the line with what perceived and felt was not being professional, showing no empathy, and not being able to proper communicate . This situation was quickly resolved and an apology was accepted and made right by the managing team. Thank you Ardmore Animal
