Services
Designed for the patient who has experienced a vestibular injury leading to decreased function and causing difficulty focusing during head movement, problems walking, riding, etc. This program is effective in improving balance and equilibrium by creating new pathways in your brain. Most treatment sessions last 45-60 minutes, depending on tolerance, 2-3 times weekly with an average of 8-12 sessions.
The Center for Disease Control (CDC), estimates that each year over 20 million children and adults will suffer from concussions, mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), or head trauma as a result of sports injury, falls, motor vehicle accidents and blunt force trauma. Head injuries lead to a disruption of normal life activities affecting people in many different ways.
During your initial evaluation, you will meet with one of our highly educated, licensed physical therapists, who help our patients' improve their quality of life by improving safety inside and outside of their home and assist with reducing pain.
