Contemporary Styles by Mena is a family owned and operated salon business since 1977. We have only career operators on our team. The staff spends 45+ hours a week working in the salon and numerous hours studying their skills in advanced education classed at the Redken Exchange in NYC. Education and attentiveness to our guests are our two biggest attributes.

Andi started her journey 12 years ago with contemporary styles and has advanced from the ground up to a very busy stylist today. She has and continues to spend countless hours up in New York studying with some of the most work renound stylists in our industry! I walked in with a major mess growing out of my head and Bailey cleaned it up beautifully! She made me feel comfortable and was very patient with me. knowledgeable with all of the products she used and explained what they do and why she was using them so i felt more informed. Professional, warm and welcoming salon. Mena bent over backward to accommodate me in late fall of 2016 for a major event just 24 hours before, even though I'd never been in her salon. She rearranged the schedule to fit me in for full highlights with Mandy, who did a phenomenal job. Every employee was gracious and sweet. The salon is modern and clean. They did an excellent job both on the service and on explanation of different products without being pushy about purchasing the products. A big city salon at small town prices and definitely worth booking if you're looking for a new stylist.
